As a Stars fan, I’m relieved. Jim made the right call here. Lots more for the org to navigate this off season, but this is a good start.

I get WHY he did what he did. It’s a losing series, losing game, you are trying to look for anything to shake these guys up. As soon as they scored after the swap you might as well just bring Otter back in the 2nd.
Feel bad for Dallas. You gotta imagine going into that game morale was tough, and then in the very beginning to have your coach show such lack of confidence. This is the team, you win or lose with what you have.

DeBoer is a really good coach. I mean… 6 trips to the WCF in 8 years is an incredible run of consistency and he did it with 3 different teams.
