  1. Sport is incredible. Nothing like it. Look at this middle aged man jumping up and down in an airport

  2. Until last month, Indianapolis International Airport had only one international destination: Cancun

  3. I feel bad for people who “cant get into sports”.

Unscripted drama that brings everyone together is just magic.

  4. Reminds me of the cubs fans at Midway airport when the cubs when the World Series, sports is just a different kind of connection

  5. I’m out here in bumfuck Montana on a whitewater rafting trip this week. This shot had the lodge going crazy, ~80% of the people didn’t watch a single NBA game this year until last night. Absolutely insane get for the casual fans.

  6. Gray fella in the blue shirt hadn’t jumped that high in decades. I love sports man

  7. Indianapolis International Airport had the smoothest security line I’ve ever gone through. Shouts to them.

  8. This is why I don’t care when people say viewership is down or the future of the league has no stars…. like bro what game are you watching the state of basketball is just fine and will be with all the new young talent coming in

  9. This right here is the positive side of sports fandom, literally brining random strangers together in moments some of them will never forget.

  10. My flight got delayed then diverted and I walked to the closest food from my hotel – a Waffle House. Place was totally empty, and the chef was watching the Pacers game on his phone outside while taking a smoke.

I forgot that the Pacers were even playing since the airport was so chaotic, and I asked him how the game was. He opened the door for me, and let me know it was looking exciting there in the fourth.

He propped his phone up in the kitchen next to the waffle irons while he cooked my texas toast sandwich, then he sat down and we watched the last few minutes of the game together.

It felt magical. I didn’t even know this guys name, but there we were. Connected by basketball, watching the Pacers on his cracked phone screen in an empty Waffle House. It was just a  human moment that really made everything seem worth it.
