Records from the Kenton County Jail indicate former Bengals player Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested in Covington early Saturday morning.Jones, 41, is being charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assault of a police officer.He was booked into the jail at 1:51 a.m., according to public records available online from the jail.It is not known what led up to the arrest.Jones played for the Bengals as a cornerback between 2010 and 2017. Jones later plead guilty to the disorderly conduct charge, while the other two charges were dismissed by prosecutors. Jones at the time said that he was on the departing flight to attend a Monday night football game in Newark, New Jersey when he got frustrated over an electrical outlet on the plane not working.During his early NFL career, he was also suspended during the full 2007 season and for part of the 2008 season while playing with the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys for various off-the-field incidents at the time that landed him in significant legal trouble.Prior to being arrested on Saturday, Jones had posted a profanity-laced video online to his X account on 8:37 p.m. on Friday night bashing the news that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers would be signing to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2025 season.This is a breaking news story and will be updated as WLWT learns more.
