Suns Best Trade Packages For KAT Or Mikal Bridges

So, the other day, Kevin O’Connor, host of the Kevin Oconor show and a pretty big-time well-known sports writer for Yahoo Sports, put out a tweet that kind of blew up. It said, “Trading cat should be priority number one for the Knicks.” And that really got me thinking, and I can tell others are having the same thought. How about Kevin Durant? At face value, it really does seem like a win-win. For the record, I don’t think that the Knicks need to trade Cat. I thought he played really well. I watched every game of that series. His defense is the issue. He is not fitting in well with what Tibido wants him to do on defense. I read a report that said he wasn’t grasping how important defense is. So that doesn’t really fit with the Suns aligned future that they so desperately seem to want. However, you could make a great argument that Carl Anthony Towns is probably the best value you could possibly get back for Kevin Durant. And as I mentioned last video, each time a team is eliminated from the playoffs, they’re forced to ask themsel that question. Is Kevin Durant, who is still averaging godlike numbers at age 36, their answer for the next season or two? I do think it’s a really good fit for him in New York. He, unlike 95% of the league, can draw defensive gravity away from Jaylen Brunson, freeing him up to be his best self and completely open up their offense. So once again, I slid back over to Fansspo to see potentially what the Knicks could or would need to offer to bring KD to the Big Apple. I put together two trades, and the trade to get Cat to Phoenix is really simple and straightforward due to the fact that he and Durant make nearly equal money. But the other trade I made with the help of CBA god Tory Jones from Blazers Uprise is a trade from Male Bridges, and it’s a doozy. So stick around for that one. First though, Carl Anthony Towns, once best friend of Devin Booker. I believe they even once made a vow to play together in the NBA if it ever became a possibility after coming out of Kentucky together. Now, that pact also included D’Angelo Russell. Let’s just act like it didn’t. If the Suns and Knicks decide to swap players, this is what it would likely look like to make the money work. Carl Anthony Towns for Kevin Durant. and they need to add a contract. More than likely, it would be Ariel Huckporti because of how much money he’s making. Their other option would be Tyler Kick, but he makes a little bit more money. And I really don’t know which of the two they would rather part from. To sweeten the deal for the Knicks. I threw in a second round pick in 2026. Tell me what you guys think of this one. Does it need to be more complicated than this or would you accept this? I could not go into Fansspo and spend time making trades with New York without attempting at least to get male Bridges back to the Suns. I don’t necessarily suspect that the Knicks want to do that, but we all saw that they need more scoring and they already have OG and Anobi who plays somewhat similar to Male Bridges. They’re both defensive locks who can stretch the floor, but Durant is that next level scorer. I found this to be extremely difficult. Allow me to explain. This could not be a simple Knicks and Sunsson trade because the Knicks would have to give up so much talent to equate to what Kevin Durant makes financially that it wouldn’t work. They wouldn’t want to do that. They’re not going to give the Suns three good players, which is the only contracts that would work for them, Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson. There’s no way the Suns were going to get all three of those players just for Kevin Durant at age 36. You have to sweeten the pot for the Knicks. You have to make it worth it for them to give up the depth that they would be giving up. And remember, their bench was an issue in the playoffs. This would force them to have to go deeper into their bench if they’re not given back more in compensation. So, I brought in two extra teams, making this a four team trade. And in this, the Lakers get Mitchell Robinson and send a first round pick, a 2031, to the Knicks. I also added the Miami Heat. They get Josh Hart’s contract and Maxi Cleba from the Lakers. They give the Knicks this year’s number 20 overall first round pick in the upcoming draft. The Suns then bring Male Bridges home and Terry Roier. Some of you might not like the idea of Terry Roier in Phoenix, and I’ve got something for you, too. If the Suns wanted, they could wave and stretch Terry Roier and save a little over $20 million that helps them further get away from that second apron, back into the first apron, and hopefully at some point out of the first apron. The Lakers need a big. Josh Hart is absolutely a heat culture type player. Maxi Cleba makes the money work, but he’s a big that can shoot the ball and in his day play some decent defense. The Knicks get Kevin Durant and two first round picks. They can draft someone at 20 or they can use these two first round picks to trade for other players that they can use right now in their little retool to be able to get past a team like the Pacers. Thank you guys for hanging out and we will see you in the next live stream, game one of the NBA finals.

Rumors are circulating around a potential trade swapping the Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant for New York Knicks Karl Anthony Towns..

  1. “AFTER ALL THAT “ 😂 ahhh hell naaa not Kat I’m sorry I gotta draw the line in the sand , Mikal yes I’ll take Precious or there other center but we jst gonna get made fun of with Kat

  2. I don't think a Knicks/Suns trade is going to happen. I doubt it's high on KD's trade destination list. I think the Knicks only get in as a 3rd team possibly.

  3. Definitely one good thing is the chemistry between book and kat is already there from the Kentucky days but other than that who knows how it’d work out if it happened lowkey if I could I’d just take back bridges for kd lol but yeah it would definitely involve multiple teams for kd at this point tryna match the contracts

  4. Hate the KAT deal…KAT doesn't fit what is reported to be the direction based on who's the finalists for the HC job…someone who wants to focus on defense and grit…I like KAT but that's not in his DNA especially if Thibs is not vibing with what KAT gave in the last two East final games

  5. Terry Rozier was one of the worst players in basketball

You're imagining a Mikal Bridges that doesn't disappear and score like 7 points every five games.

This does not make us better or even build for the future. It's nostalgia bait. Might as well trade for Ayton

  6. KAT is overrated. The dude fouls on every drive he makes to the basket, and he cries about getting fouled every shot. This in turn is why he's late down the floor to play defense, hence the other 4 players on the floor need to cover for his slow @ss.

  7. We’re cooked man they should of picked Bryant over Ott I have officially lost hope in our suns wtf man Ott smot pot Suns are destroying my basketball mental health permanent damage
