1. They should nix this, and have them play at the Giants stadium until Vegas is ready imo. That should be next seasons plan.

2. They would have been better off sharing a home like Jets and Giants do in the NFL.

   Only thing worse are the "FOOLS" in Oakland that spouted the "sell the team" campaign, which pushed the A's out
   faster. Instead of saying, okay the A's are leaving, let's enjoy the 3-4 years we have with them, the sell-the-team
   buffoons thought their "ideological" stunt would actually get them something! Fools for fools! Watch this! Every time,
   one of those idiots will post their ever so lame response of…"if you had a girlfriend & she stepped out on you…blah, blah".
   Knowing if they had a "girlfriend", Shamu the whale couldn't give it away on death row to a prisoner that was about
   to be executed! They would rather have a last meals of nails and thumb tacks, than to touch or even LOOK at their
   Shamu "girlfriend".

11. Look man, the A’s should be kissing West Sacramento’s a$$. In Oakland they were averaging less than 5K in attendance per game, in West Sacramento every game is sold out and attendance is 14K. Stop biting the hand that feeds you and keeps you on life support while your new digs are being built in Las Vegas!

12. The park is actually not bad. I saw a few Rivercats games there several years ago. The stadium is right next to a bridge and a river. I stopped going to A’s games at the Oakland Coliseum in 2014 when they had the best record in baseball and traded away their cleanup hitter at the trade deadline (Yoenis Cespedes). They slumped badly after that and barely made the wildcard play-in game which they lost. That was the last straw for me after trading away their best players or allowing them to leave in free agency for years.

13. they should have stayed in oakland… once the raiders left they could have redone the colosseum for themselves…. that is a great ball park.

14. The Seattle Pilots might've survived if the work to renovate/expand Sick's Stadium had been completed before the 1969 season had started. Instead, the owner of the Royals (another expansion team set to join the league with the Pilots) demanded that his team be allowed to join the league in 1969, and the Pilots were forced to begin playing in an unfinished stadium out of a necessity to even out the schedule. As a result, Dewey Soriano (the not so-deep pocketed owner of the Pilots) lost a bunch of money and was forced to sell the team to Bud Selig. The rest is history…

20. It’s a minor league park. It is a very nice minor league park. It’s not the park’s fault. It’s like playing NBA basketballl in a high school gym.

21. Severino is an idiot. He signed here as a free agent KNOWING they would be playing in a minor league park. To come here and complain now that it is a minor league park is ridiculous.

22. Major League Baseball rulebook has nothing in it that could possibly be interpreted as a mandate to force big league teams to make entire dugouts have a view of the whole field. Also there is nothing in MLB rulebook that could be interpreted as somehow necessitating teams to have bullpens located outside the field of play as you see in a conventional bullpen structure like at Fenway.

23. I think the Athletics should move back to Oakland. I was just in Las Vegas and nothing has been built yet. They have a better fan base here in Oakland.

31. True fans of this club are out of things to say. Fisher doesn't care. Billionaire senior citizen – why should he care about what us plebs say? He had a deal with Selig, and Lew Wolff to take on the team and when wolff checked out, Fisher went into full tank mode. This Vegas move is not about money. It's not about appeal. It's about destruction of a storied franchise. To allow the Giants to have full control over Baseball in the SF BayArea and at this rate. Northern California. Playing in Sac was not on the menu when the Rivercats were an A's Minor league team. Now it is, because they blame the city of Oakland? for not working with them? Foolish business works on one side giving everything for the other with the other offering zero to the project. The City of Oakland is not built for that. Sheng Thao, and Libby Schaaf were not those type of people. Regardless of the issues they had to deal with aside from this. After experiencing my first minor league game with the San Jose Giants recently, very few people are in their seats to watch the game. It's just a hangout session, very family picnic style. Cool time, but not something that will be a full season thing during the summer when its 90°F+ and no shade. Nevertheless, it's just wrong and pathetic to have a stadium who has been there for them for over 50 years – to be abandoned with no plan. The raiders waited until their megaplex was built before they left. Warriors came to Oakland from SF, only to go back with a new building as well. Thankfully the Oakland roots/soul play there so the coliseum is still a thing. If fisher had a soul, he would feel shame. But again, he doesn't care. Its been clear for years and now he is emboldened to show it.
