  1. OKC just go on these runs that are near impossible to dig yourself out of. Requires the type of heroics we saw at the end of game 1 which is just a tough ask.

  2. It’s cool that Hali hit that game winner but he simply hasn’t played good enough so far

  3. YOUR EVIL DEVIL MAGIC DIDN’T WORK THIS TIME HALI!! WEEP IN YOUR FAILURE TO PRODUCE VOODOO WITCHCRAFT PACERS!!

  4. Obviously J Dub and Chet playing much better helped get us the win—and SGA always gets his—but Caruso and Wiggins, hell of a game for those two. A combined 38 points on 12-22 from the field.

  5. SGA has been the best player in the NBA Finals by a WIDE margin.

Not just dominating offensively but he’s been borderline elite defensively as well.

  6. As a neutral fan, the highlight of this game was Kendrick Perkins getting cut off by ESPN mid take.

  7. Here’s my thing with Tyrese, why isn’t he aggressive to score? He would be far more dangerous, i get that he wants to facilitate but this is the finals. You have to go all out.

  8. This has been one of my favorite Shai games of the playoffs. Very limited foul bullshit, just pure, surgical hoops. He’s just one of the most refined scorers the league has had in a while.

  9. OKC defensive masterclass and a great game from the big 3 as well as Caruso. The Haliban is so weird man. He was a ghost for the first three quarters and randomly turned it up in the fourth and became their leading scorer. Unfortunately that scoring came way too late

  10. Good win for OKC. J-Dub and Chet stepped up and their role players were great too. And Shai was Shai.

Indiana’s ability to make crazy runs is gonna keep this series in the balance. But they need to stop putting themselves in these deficits in the first half. Interested to see how well their role players play at home, thought they were reasonable in OKC.

Haliban needs to be aggressive from the start. Can’t be idle for 30 minutes and then start shooting once the game is already over.

  11. We take those. Let’s get game 3 and turn this series in our favour

  12. I’m convinced this sub starts losing their vision due to their seething hate when watching okc games that game thread was wild

  13. Everyone will complain about something, but OKC was just flat out better tonight.

  15. I don’t care what the stat sheet says but as far as I’m concerned, Haliburton had 5 points the whole game. Those 12 points in the fourth don’t even count.

Also, can the refs stop trying to be the centre of attention for just one game?

  16. Besides that 4th quarter stat pad Hali was a ghost all game. Crazy how many times he does this

  17. Haliburton deciding to shoot when the game is already over the dude is shameless

  18. ESPN/ABC should be ashamed of this level of production value for the fucking NBA Finals. Feels like NBA Sunday afternoon

  19. Really weird series

OKC has led all but about 5 seconds

    Usually by 15+

They’re very clearly the better team

Indy can’t really create on offense

And yet, the pressure is on OKC, they absolutely have to win one in Indy, and even getting to 2-2 feels like it’d be a win for Indy, almost feels like OKC needs to take both Indy games to feel comfortable.

  20. People are gonna see the 17 from Halliburton and think he was active, but he was completely absent when Indiana was desperate for runs

  21. SGA as a two-way player is so underrated. His defense is so good, you don’t have to sub him offense for defense like other “superstars.” Great game by him today.

  22. I see people have swung back over to “Hali sucks”. Man, NBA discourse is so fun, just back and forth and back and forth.

  23. Sadly, SGA’s bagwork this game will never reach the front page of this sub.

  24. From an OKC fan, have to give props to Nesmith and Nembhard. Guys are workhorses and so under-appreciated. Hali comes in fresh in the 4th for the glory but these 2 guys are doing all the grunt work.
