In April, Booker said he wants to finish his career in Phoenix.

Despite the rumours that Phoenix will trade Booker, the most likely outcome is that Booker will sign a 2-year extension to remain under contract with the Suns for the next 5 years.

  9. People forget just how awful the Suns were when Booker was starting to break out and how he never asked for a trade and stuck it out. It’s how you build a big fanbase. Yes the Suns situation isn’t great right now but I think he wants to ride it out and find success on the other side.

  13. Book came into the league right after Dirk won his championship in Dallas and was present for the Nash Ring of Honor ceremony. He idolizes these guys and the type of love they get from their fanbase. Book will be fine waiting another 5 years for a shot at a ring to be the Dirk of the Suns.
