the leaping catch And that is now seven straight retired by Michaels George Springer starts off the Toronto fourth The Blue Jays have been set down Seven up seven down by Miles Michaels who trails the field It’s a base hit Springer had to wait to see if Donovan was going to be able to catch it So he can’t score but he will come to third on a line drive single by Ernie Clement Runners at first and third with just one out Allan Rhoden who bats from the left side left field It’s going to be a base hit Springer comes in to score Clement to second An RBI single for Rooden Chopper toward third Step on the bag there Throw to first and in time and the inning comes to a close but the Blue Jays pick up an extra run Cardinals trailing four nothing Donovan the runner at first He was hit by a pitch Now it’s Berles Or do that Hit it the other way Burles with a base hit Donnie cuts the bag at second And a smart throw into second to keep the double play in order Cardinals do this a lot Brad take the territory It’s going to be an RBI double for Barger Class is in Bette around to third and the Blue Jays are back on top A little flare pop up shallow left center field and caught and here comes Bette Donovan’s throw to the plate is cut and Bett will score It’ll be a sack fly for Springer to make it six to four We’re in the seventh It’s 6-4 Toronto So one out and Addison Barger to him That’s going Aronado has hit a two-run homer Arnado didn’t waste any time getting the Cardinals back in this game They are down by two That one stroked into right and that’s down for a hit And the Cardinals bring the tying run to the plate A three hit game for Gorman and Pedro Pahes comes up representing the tying run Shallow center field racing in his straw to make the catch The Cardinals inch closer Two runs on three hits Blue Jays eight Cardinals six Kirk a single a home run in between a fly out and a ground out Grounds one through the left side A base hit Not the hardest hit ball of his series or his season but it’s his seventh hit in two games Andres Jimenez started the day with a threerun homer off Miles Michaels in the first inning And that’s a base hit into right center and they are going to add on Bette comes in to score Kirk around to third An RBI single for Jimenez It is nine to six That’s to the back stop and here comes Kirk as it bounces way up the first baseline and another run scores It’s 10 to six The Blue Jays lead the Cards 10 to six as we head to the bottom of the ninth inning Well glad you had a good time as that one’s whistled into left field by Herrera That’ll get down the Cardinals again First and third trying to put together a rally in the ninth Wilson Contrus is seeking his first hit in the game He went one for two last night And a high towering fly ball deep center Miles Straw back That baby’s gone Contrarus with a big time bomb to straightaway center Ambushes the first pitch and makes it a one-run game The Cardinal will not go away Quietly Contraras Hoffman First pitch 432 ft shot walking it off to put the Cardinals within one Well here’s Alec Berles He is two hits tonight And now a ground ball to second off the bat of Berles And the Blue Jays will hang on to win it here tonight in a wild game that probably aged a lot of people in that third base dugout quite a bit Tonight
