Blue Jays vs. Cardinals Game Highlights (6/10/25) | MLB Highlights
and it’s going to be Miles Michael’s turn to see if he can can even things up right here for the Red Birds He’s been throwing the ball very well His 13th start of the season coming in with that erra just south of four Bob Bashette is in the box to lead it off Clint Vondra is the home plate umpire tonight He pokes this one off the end of the bat into right center and got enough of it that he’s aboard with a base hit How are the Cardinals going to retire Alejandro Kirk he grounded out to the shortstop Mason win and Miles Michaels would take that right now with Bette at first and one out And this one to shallow center field coming in is Scott and it’s going to drop Bette with a good job was creeping towards second the whole way and then took off when that ball landed Bloop single for Kirk The pitch taken for a ball by left-handed batting Andres Jimenez This is hit hard to deep right field and Jimenez has hit it out An absolute bolt off the bat of Andres Jimenez His fourth home run of the season and the Blue Jays are out in front early That’s his first home run since the first seven or eight days of the season Remember he had three early He was the team leader in home runs for a few weeks That’s the Mad Scientist making his 14th start of the season last time out Excellent start versus the Phillies Seven innings five hits one run sixks He’s moved over from the third base side of the rubber into the first base side of the rubber I really feel like that helps his lane against left-handers A little less stress on the body See if he continues that tonight Win followed by the DHRA and left fielder Brendan Donovan And he gets some swinging for out number one One out in the Cardinals first inning for Ivon Herrera This one right back to the mound That trickles off Basset’s glove Play at second Won’t be made Infield hit for Herrera Basset frustrated It didn’t stick First baseman Wilson Contras takes strike one from Chris Bassid Runner on first Two outs 02 again And a weak ground ball to short Bette to Jimenez to force Herrera And in the inning a good start for Chris Bassin Three nothing The Blue Jays leading the Cardinals 567 in the order for St Louis this inning Hot shot up the middle That’s a base hit Aronado is on with a second Cardinal hit But way behind here and a four pitch walk sets it up for Pedro Pes Two on with one out And Pedro Pahes comes up representing the tying run Ground ball to short to second one on to first in time Nicely done by both Bette and Jimenez Second time through for the top of the order Addison Barger popped out to Mason Win his first time There’s strike three and Barger is struck out That’s two for Michael Hey you can call him the Colonel Best hitter in the game with two strikes Not this time though as Victor makes the leaping catch And that is now seven straight retired by Michaels George Springer starts off the Toronto fourth The Blue Jays have been set down Seven up seven down by Miles Michaels who trails the game three to nothing And he hits it hard and back through the middle for a base hit It’s a hard hit single for George Springer to lead off the fourth to the right side He flipped to the pitcher covering That was really well done by Gorman and Michael Contras couldn’t cut it off but Miles didn’t spectate on the play The runner advances but there’s your first out And now a line drive to left field It’s a base hit Springer had to wait to see if Donovan was going to be able to catch it So he can’t score but he will come to third on a line drive single by Ernie Clement Runners at first and third with just one out Allan Rhoden who bats from the left side left field It’s going to be a base hit Springer comes in to score Clement to second An RBI single for Rooden Chopper toward third Step on the bag there Throw to first and in time and the inning comes to a close but the Blue Jays pick up an extra run Cardinals trailing four nothing Donovan the runner at first He was hit by a pitch Now it’s Berles Or do that Hit it the other way Burles with a base hit Donnie cuts the bag at second And a smart throw into second to keep the double play in order Cardinals do this a lot Brad take the extra base and they’ve got a threat First and third one out Got to start somewhere Even if it’s just one at a time Nolan decides to hit a three-run home run I won’t quibble Line into left field That’s going to get down for a run-scoring hit Perles will go to third Aronado has an RBI and the Cardinals are on the board Aronado his second hit of the night A scorcher into left field He has 33 RBI’s Gorman a natural third baseman playing second base today where he’s had to play a fair bit in the majors because Areronado has been at the hot corner so often for St Louis Swag and a drive baby’s way out of here Gordon unloads and ties this game Nolan Gorman’s third home run of the season His third career home run against Chris Basset A threerun shot that ties it Four spot for the St Louis Cardinals in the bottom of the fourth Has tied this game And Toronto’s got him First and second after back-to- back hits to left field This looks like it’s going to get down and it will just in fair territory It’s going to be an RBI double for Barger Class is in Bette around to third and the Blue Jays are back on top A little flare pop up shallow left center field and caught and here comes Bette Donovan’s throw to the plate is cut and Bett will score It’ll be a sack fly for Springer to make it six to four We’re in the seventh It’s 6-4 Toronto So one out and Addison Barger to him That’s going to be a base hit for Barger and he was thinking about it He was flying around first and thinking about trying for second but he’ll settle for a one-out single So one-on-one one out Top of the seventh inning Alejandro Kirk to hit This is a well-hit ball right center field and it is gone Well he squared up that one His second home run in his many nights His sixth hit in the last two games And his remarkable production continues It’s 84 Blue Jays in the seventh Blue Jays leading eight-4 after the two-run homer in the top of the seventh by Alejandro Kurt And that one down and in So ball four Victors aboard And Bass a little frustrated here with a four-run lead He walks a fast man with the top of the St Louis order next And it’ll be Mason Win And it’s popped up on the infield Clement comes in and takes charge Two down I mean this is probably his last batter if I had to guess with the left-handed hitting Donovan up there but see what he can do Another popup It’ll be Barger and that will be the inning And Chris Basset indeed is through seven Mason Flu Hardy is on for Toronto with the Blue Jays leading 8 to four This one hard hit and through Berles’s good work continues Another multi-hit game for him Let’s see if that’s the start of something to get back into this game with Nolan Arnado coming up Blessed at it first and the swing and a high towering fly ball deep left Nolan Aronado has hit a two-run homer Arnado didn’t waste any time getting the Cardinals back in this game They are down by two That one stroked into right and that’s down for a hit And the Cardinals bring the tying run to the plate A three hit game for Gorman and Pedro Pahes comes up representing the tying run Shallow center field racing in his straw to make the catch The Cardinals inch closer Two runs on three hits Blue Jays eight Cardinals six Kirk a single a home run in between a fly out and a ground out Grounds one through the left side A base hit Not the hardest hit ball of his series or his season but it’s his seventh hit in two games Andres Jimenez started the day with a threerun homer off Miles Michaels in the first inning And that’s a base hit into right center and they are going to add on Bette comes in to score Kirk around to third An RBI single for Jimenez It is nine to six That’s to the back stop and here comes Kirk as it bounces way up the first baseline and another run scores It’s 10 to six The Blue Jays lead the Cards 10 to six as we head to the bottom of the ninth inning Well glad you had a good time as that one’s whistled into left field by Herrera That’ll get down the Cardinals again First and third trying to put together a rally in the ninth Wilson Contrus is seeking his first hit in the game He went one for two last night And a high towering fly ball deep center Miles Straw back That baby’s gone Contrarus with a big time bomb to straightaway center Ambushes the first pitch and makes it a one-run game The Cardinal will not go away Quietly Contraras Hoffman First pitch 432 ft shot walking it off to put the Cardinals within one Well here’s Alec Berles He is two hits tonight And now a ground ball to second off the bat of Berles And the Blue Jays will hang on to win it here tonight in a wild game that probably aged a lot of people in that third base dugout quite a bit Tonight

Don't know what's going on with Jays' offense lately, might be the young guys are more optimistic about staying in the lineup…
How is a closer giving up so many home runs all the time. Their needs to be a change soon. I like Hoffman, when he's on he's good, but he's giving up way too many runs
Can’t give up 10 and expect to win, MM has been awful.
Fun game, hah!
John Schneider almost cost the Jays the game. Don’t care if they’re winning, he should be fired and should have been fired a while ago! He’s holding the team back.
Love the fight in this Cardinal team. Our offense is giving runs almost every single game but our bullpen is letting us down time and time again. Mikolas hasn't been pitching that amazing, he just has so many Ws bc the offense helped him out a lot. The pitching for this team is a serious issue and it needs to get better if we want to be a real threat this year
That Contreras 3 run homer celly was COLD ASFFF
Who writing Stl pitchers checks still they should play for free at this point
Congrats🎉❤😊on the win Jays😊
Fair to say the Jays are in the market for a dependable closer?
Substrate Foliated Kalcite.
My Redbirds need some pitching help!!
내가 고슽코 회장이면 일지감치 Kirk를 모델로 기용했을 것. 아직도 상품가치는 여전히 충분한 커크. 너무 이쁘지 않은가.
If it wasn't for kirk blue jays will loose the games!
Cards coming back to reality.
Damn Jays got a lot of fire power now! Our offense is still humming along nicely but we need to tighten up our bullpen. You can see the pitching is clearly not on par with our hitting
You don't win many games giving up 9 runs. You win even less giving up 10. Jays are 12-3 the last 15 games.
That was a heck of a game. Super exciting to see the run production from TORONTO. They’re up 4-0, 8-4, 9-6. But the Cardinals don’t stop. They fought like tigers and almost came back. ❤
Captain Kirk Can't be Contained
See i said if Toronto goes on A 5 game winning streak, some guy said toronto season.was done, he dont know baseball
Hoffman getting saves i dont care how shaky it is.
Kirk better wrap his bat in a warm wool blanket just so it wont cool down!
They got a GOOD TEAM THIS YEAR !!!!!JIMINEZ,KIRK,
BECHETTE,SPRINGER
JUST TO MENTION A FEW, THESE GUYS ARE CARRYING THE OFFENSE NIGHT AFTER NIGHT!
THESE BOYS GOT GAME!!!!!
