I cannot fathom the mindset one must be afflicted with that would compel them to threaten to kill an athlete who disappointed them with his performance. Let alone threatening his family. Especially when the athlete is playing the best he can, and wants to win even more than the fan. And has more to lose. It’s certainly not as if the athlete was intentionally trying to lose.
