  5. Honestly whats most impressive to me is the fact that he thinks to tie the d-mans stick before scoring. Is that a rule when going for a deke & score? Or do players just try to avoid having their sticks checked?

    Compare how fast he’s moving his legs to the legs of all the oilers. Just an, in your face, astounding deke and score right there. Barely shoots just shuffleboard/ forces it in.

  9. Marchand is sick but Edmonton’s defensemen are comically bad. Walman and Ekholm got undressed tonight and their partners just stared into space while it happened.

  17. When I saw this I blame Bouchard for not going in and chasing that puck. It looked reachable, but the Florida player, unopposed was able to chip it up to Marchand creating that chance.

    Bouchard’s fault. I’d bench him.

  20. Trade from BOS to FLA was the best thing that her happened to that guy. He’s well on his way to becoming a true NHL legend for more than licking people’s faces. The man is a hockey animal through and through. He may not be quite loveable yet – but in interviews he’s sharp and seems perfectly nice. He’s also a great teammate.
