Royals openly shopping for “corner outfield help” per Jim Bowden (Royals Review)

  1. No GM could have predicted that the Royals would need a corner outfielder. /s

  2. Personally I’d like Taylor Ward or one of the Marlins guys, Cedric Mullins / O’Hearn are rentals and I’d like a little longevity from these trades.

I trust JJ will make a solid move, maybe not flashy, but solid (like Erceg, Cruz, etc)

  3. all we need is new bats, hitting coach, asst hitting coach, batting gloves, pinetar, eye doctor, lineup order, random new outfielder or two that can hit and we should be good.

  4. I am admittedly am less focused on the rest of the league with having kids now, I just hope they don’t waste resources on rentals and reclamation projects.

The young core will be good for a while. Nothing on the horizon in the minors if Jac stays up. Find a young beast, please.

And don’t tell me to be practical. I’m a fan. One that looks to be paying for a stadium I can’t afford to watch games inside of. I need placating.

  5. If they decide to buy and then get a rental I’m jumping into the fountains

  6. I’ve been saying it-Lou Bob from ChiSox. He’s cheap, he used to be pretty good and he is one of those players that could bring back his glory days with just a simple change of scenery/cities. Just a few seasons ago he was batting above .280, I know he is sub .200 now but that’s why I am saying he is cheap. He’s worth the risk in my opinion.

Edit: I always thought Mike Trout would look good in a Royals uniform.
