and welcome into the ballpark happy to have you with us major League Baseball on tap it’s the Los Angeles Angels taking on the New York Yankees first pitch coming at you right after the break all right just about set to go and today’s starter Max Free and Singi we were talking earlier about how he’s doing a great job navigating through tough spots i’ve just been so impressed with when it seems like there’s more pressure he’s more calm and settles in he’s done an incredible job with runners in scoring position most guys get a little tight they start to aim the baseball but for some reason he gets looser the ball comes out of his hand with more life and he’s able to wiggle off the hook of you know tough situations and get his team back in zack Nitto leading things off and takes the strike [Applause] hit hard on the ground is short slings to first and the first out of the game is an easy one all right let’s take a look at the Angels live with an excellent arm on the mound singi this won’t be easy they’ll need to take advantage of the opportunities that they do have you’re right about that Boo odds are they won’t have many chances against this guy but if they can rattle him out of the gates they’ll have a shot if not look out it might be a long day for this offense nolan Shanowell getting ready to hit and first offering is fouled off swaging a popup foul out of play off to the right side that’ll find the stands on the ground pza fires over to first and a couple of quick outs batting third the second baseman Mike Trout two down base is empty mike Trout the next to hit for the Angels he provides a surprising amount of pop from the second base position listen that’s not something to take lightly getting that kind of production from the guys up the middle it’s not a strength of most lineups just And what does that do for a team when you get power from unexpected spots like that when you’re in the dugout and you see a guy come up big like that that you don’t necessarily expect it it just energizes that entire team two balls no strikes ball come on Max swung on belted going back are you kidding me pulls it in on the warning trap end of a half inning of play no score [Applause] back now in the Bronx and on the hill in this one you say kikuchi and Chris pitching on the road has not been particularly kind to him yeah and you don’t want to be too quick to say that he can’t pitch on the road sometimes you know it’s just a matter of luck it’s not having a feel difference between the bullpin mound to the mound out there on the playing field don’t know what it is but I know this he’s got good enough stuff to overcome and get it done on the road as well as at home so we’ll see what he’s able to do in this one [Applause] kick deals swinging and a miss and the count even at one just threw that fast ball by him elevated and if you’re not looking up in that location very difficult to catch up to especially with that velocity and now it’s one and two battling here as he fouls it away upstairs [Applause] [Music] that one not close and that’s ball three [Applause] that one misses so lead off walk now this was a story we were paying attention to before the game we’ve seen him give up walks in the past and it’s an issue once again early on all right and now Ben Rice and immediately pumps in a strike to the left-handed hitter and that’s fouled off [Music] goes down swinging for the strike out had him out front for strike three well you rarely ever see three curve balls in a row because that’s one of those pitches that’s most effective when you haven’t seen it recently you might see three sliders in a row but right there he was feeling that curveball and figured he could finish with that pitch and now big number 99 Aaron Judge and Judge spoils that one judge enjoyed success at the major league level right away he hit 52 home runs as a rookie breaking Mark Magcguire’s record and became the first Yankee to win rookie of the year since some guy named Derek Jeter and that is downstairs and that is ball one gisham at first one gone comes up empty that’s strike two sometimes being lucky is a swing and miss if he makes contact with that pitch probably hits into a double play hot shot to third goes to second for one double play what a twin killing to end the inning first frame of the night behind us and it’s nothing nothing second inning set to go so now the Angel cleanup hitter Taylor Ward ward boo here’s a guy at the plate and I’m expecting to have a good game he always seems to play better in road games max Freed will go to work swinging a foul back and that’s out of play here comes the one and a breaking ball drops in for a strike time to check on our umpires earl Hendricks calling balls and strikes yeah well liked umpire big pretty consistent with his zone so if you’re familiar with him and how he works you won’t get too surprised by anything sometimes he’ll give a little bit off the corner but nothing too crazy at all swings and he pops it up near the pitcher mount carous one down what about some non nos like you can’t call the umpire blue the way you do in little league or high school right yeah even in the minor leagues you’ll learn quickly uh you call the umpire blue you better learn his name and uh that’s just part of being a professional player and even a major league player jorge Solair in the box now no balls in a strike swinging a foul back that’s out of play pitch misses there and the count is one and two that’s a really good job of laying off the O2 high fast ball is going to make that pitcher really have to respect this hitter even though he’s behind in the count foul ball still a one and two count fouls it back with two strikes one down base is empty swing and a miss and he got him that’s the second out you usually are going to see that inside fast ball a little longer coming in from the opposite side but that pitch really got in on him right there i mean that’s a wellthrown pitch tough to do anything with that in terms of getting the hands through and the sweet spot of the bat to the baseball oh Travis Darno stands in here leaves that one off the inside and another ball and that one is in for a strike at 95 and it’s two and one no score here in the second missed with a change up and that’s ball three and there’s a foul ball [Music] goes down looking and the Angels are gone in order we’ll go to the bottom of the second no score bottom half of inning number two and here comes Bellinger cody Bellinger kikuchi back to work rips one to right diving gets down could the extra bases around second now going for three and he’s got a leadoff triple wastes no time there really turned on that one down the line and that’s a spot where there’s pretty much never going to be a defender even with the shift off runner in scoring position now and a good opportunity to push across the first run of the ball game [Applause] so the go-ahead run in scoring position jazz Chisum Jr stepping in now for the Yankees breaking ball inside one and0 runner at third here nobody out swing at a line drive and that’s a base hit into right field the run comes across and the Yankees score first it’s one- nothing couldn’t have timed it up any better than that ripped that one down the line and kept it fair even when you hit it that far out front you still have to keep your hands tight to your body so you don’t hook around that baseball and put it in foul territory and that right there was perfect and up next for New York Anthony Vulpi at 96 that pitch is in for a strike chisum leads off second with nobody out check on the runner and he’s back safely [Applause] that one ripped but foul [Music] man at second the shorts stop takes a ball that one 95 to finish him off jason Dominguez stepping in now for the Yankees ball one there one out one out and a runner at second bottom half of inning number two [Applause] and that one lifted in the air center field calls it in and there’s two away batting it the catcher number 25 and next for New York JC Escara [Music] [Applause] and that misses and that’s ball one [Music] [Applause] pulls that one foul [Applause] that missed a lot and a count two and one runner at second two down [Applause] [Applause] got him swinging on the curve ball and that’ll keep more runs from coming in inning over a run on two hits and they leave one we head on now to the top of the third yankees won and the Angels nothing new inning getting started and now the DH Luis Rehifo reippo we talked so much about how starting pitchers prepare for their starts i talked with Max Freed and one of the things he told me back in 19 he and Lucas Gelo started using MLB The Show to go over scouting reports the 01 swings and hits one in the air out towards right field and there’s one downing [Applause] the center fielder number seven here’s Joe Adele adele foul ball there one out base is empty hammers that one deep left field and forget it [Music] a gigantic blast and we’re all square it’s one that was blasted absolutely no doubt off the bat [Applause] well he put a really nice swing on that one and everything was on time took a direct path to the ball excellent extension and just drove it out of here nothing better than when the ball jumps off your bat like that so it’s all tied up thanks to the home run kevin Newman digs in now swaying a highf fly ball in the air left field dominguez calls it in two away the batter number nine and next for the Angels Zack Netto grounded out his first time [Applause] a short stop takes a ball [Applause] swings and misses that’s strike one two out base is empty [Applause] swang and a miss there’s that change up a lot of times you’ll see a pitcher maybe double up on a pitch this guy will throw it three times four times in a row because hitters just can’t lay off of it [Applause] and it’s fouled off they’ll do it again [Applause] two outs spoils a two- strike pitch and he’ll see another tied up here in the early going swanging a popup vulpi makes the grab and that’ll end the inning angels draw even on this solo homer call even now at 1:1 it’s Major League Baseball and it’s on the show set for the bottom of the third stepping in for the Yankees Oswalt PZA PZA PZA 24 years old and he was born in Venezuela really close pitch down around the knees there and you could see him asking where it missed probably doesn’t agree but it appears he’s ready to move on to the next pitch two balls no strikes to count [Applause] and that’s in there at the knees late swing fouled all slice the other way that’s a base hit so now back to the top of the order net for the Yankees nice job of driving that pitch the other way on the line you know hitters they take so many reps in the cages working on going to the opposite field and it doesn’t always translate into the game but right there it did and he did it perfectly back to the top of the Yankee order now here’s Trent Gisham just got the ball [Applause] and that is out of play [Applause] in the air on the infield newman pulls it down and he makes the catch and there’s one down the first baseman number 22 Ben Rice ben Rice stepping in now for the Yankees struck out swinging his first time snap throw to first and he just got his hand in there here comes the pitch runner breaks for second newman to first in time no chance at the double play with the runner in motion so the go-ahead run at scoring position now it’s Aaron Judge up to the point he hit into a double play his first time up and that’s in there at the knees and this guy’s got a great feel for his breaking ball today [Applause] and that’s downstairs and the count even one and one [Applause] just missed two outs and one in scoring position and there’s a base hit to left carasa around third he will score the Yankees take the lead it’s an RBI single it’s two to one picks himself up an RBI pitch hard and inside but he showed off some quick hands got the barrel to it and was able to yank it into the off field bellinger up to hit and a swing and a miss there 0 and one [Applause] that one catches the corner for a strike oh this guy’s so comfortable hitting with two strikes even a good pitch early in the at bat if he’s not ready to pull the trigger he’s not worried if he gets to an 02 count and ball one judge off of first with two away [Applause] swung on popped up left side neto nabs it and the inning is over but they pick up one run on the RBI single and it’s now a two-1 ball game you’re dialed into the show here at New Yankee Stadium in the Bronx start of the fourth so in for the Angels Nolan Shanuel and that one is downstairs ball one [Music] top of the zone for a called strike well we call that keyhole even though it’s right there and looks pretty good if he doesn’t love it he’s not going to swing that early in the count chopped left side barely got him for the out close play mike here’s Mike Trout fly to center his first time he’s 0 for one he’s someone that you might not describe as having elite level speed but he can absolutely move and it is a factor in his game and that’s through there for a strike this guy’s definitely a plus runner but what I love about him is that he goes all out every single time never takes a break it’s guys like that even though they don’t have the elite speed the fact that they’re consistent with it they make moves on the base pads and a base hit right there so a man aboard now with one away [Music] he was all over that one that’s a good sound coming off the bat man and as he connected out front ripped it into the outfield that’s one of those swings where you just don’t even feel the ball hit the barrel that’s a pure stroke and now let’s see if they force some action with good wheels on the bases taylor Ward the next to hit for the Angels and diving back is Trout and a first pitch fast ball is in for a strike [Applause] let’s go yeah that’s too high trout on the move that’s out to center field that’s a base hit throw into third and the throw’s offline safe at third back to back base hit pretty good spot hard and inside but that’s a perfect example of keeping your hands inside the ball tight to the body the ability to take that back up the middle shows his approach is to use the entire field jorge Soler up at the plate his next home run will be the 200th in his career it would be pretty cool to see it right here a swing and a miss and that’s strike one solair with just one more homer to reach the 200 career mark you know we usually talk about bigger numbers when it comes to homers but only about 400 major leaguers have ever hit 200 round trippers in their careers he’s putting himself in great company [Applause] rudders are at the corners one away i think ultimately you want to tie him up get the ball in on the plate so that he can’t get the barrel to it and hit it to the outfield waves at defender for the strike out well this is where the team aspect really comes into play on the offensive side of the game right i mean missed opportunity to tie it up with the runner at third one out couldn’t put the ball in play so now it’s time to pick him up and that’s where good teams they go to they operate on this level of next man up that mentality is what causes them to win series get into the postseason that helps keep the energy and morale high in the dugout lefty out of the stretch runners at first and third just missed tough spot right here a couple runners on two ball count you can’t nibble but you have to execute and finish your pitch if you leave something out over the plate it’s going to bring in some runs freed out of the stretch fires ball outside a rare three ball count here he’s been throwing strikes all day got to be ready to hit if you’re in the box two on two outs and that one fouled off [Applause] highfly ball out towards left field that’s back there into the second deck and gone kiss that ball goodbye his fourth home run of the season and they lead it it’s 4-2 nothing better than hitting a home run to put your team out in front he’s enjoying a fun trip around the bases [Applause] well I’m sure there’s a big grin on his face right now boo he’s probably had some of those that didn’t stay fair but off the bat it looked like he was going to bend foul was able to keep it in there tucked it nicely and he gets the jog around the bases good for him rangifo takes the ball as he stands in for the second time two gone base is empty but three runs across top half of inning number four on the outside corner and that is strike one [Applause] foul ball that one misses in the dirt gets a piece there we’ll do it again i wouldn’t throw him another breaking ball try to go again with a fast ball slightly elevated he just having a hard time catching up [Applause] spoils that one and it remains two and two two down to Oman that’s foul off to the right side keeps the AB going five foul balls in this at bat so far and these two are going headtohead you can see the crowd they’re starting to get into it a little bit more and more each pitch even though there hasn’t been a ball in play yet vulpy throws to first in time that’s out number three but the biggest swing of the inning comes right here a three-run homer it’s now 42 you’re watching Major League Baseball on the show back at Yankee Stadium John Chi and Chris Singleton with you and leading off the bottom of the fourth Jazz Chisum Jr [Applause] in there at the knees strike one you know these Yankees doing a great job Boo of just waiting for the right pitch to come their way and I’m seeing very patient at bats out of them they’re doing a good job of working the pitch count and they’ve been able to push a couple of runs across to score as well a little bit high maybe and the count one and two still relatively early but with a pair of runs already on the board the ripple effect of that high pitch count might set him up to do more damage later in this game [Music] cuts and misses it’s a strike out he came out of his mechanics there typically likes to shoot the ball the other way but that time a little anxious vulpi anthony Vulpi will hit next he struck out swinging at his first at and that one is inside one ball no strikes delivers a pitch in for a strike at 95 [Applause] a short stop takes a ball swing and a miss as he was late i think he was sitting off speed though two and two is the count and it remains two and two that wasn’t an easy pitch to hit it’s much easier to do damage against mistakes but that’s not what that pitch was strike three and that’s two in a row that was a really nice pitch call for that putaway slider right there you look at the sequence in that at bat and he hadn’t thrown it yet so just makes it really tough to recognize and fight off with two strikes i’m sure it looked like a fast ball all the way until it wasn’t jason Dominguez the next to hit fly to center his first time there’s a high chopper on the run throw to first and very nicely done for the out so the Yanks go in order still down by a count of four to two back in the Bronx and now the center fielder Joe Adele singing four homers in 22 games at Old Yankee Stadium what do you remember well I remember my rookie year hitting two in one game and you know before that game in the clubhouse there was a gentleman there who owned a suit company there in downtown Manhattan and he said to me “Hey kid you hit a home run in the game tonight come over to the store tomorrow and I’ll give you a free suit.” Activity in the bullpen for the Yankees jonathan Lo Isisa getting loose out there for Aaron Boon yarro a left-hander also throwing laser could be trouble around first heading for two in safely it’s a double and his second hit most hitters dream of being able to hit breaking pitches as well as this guy it takes great bat to ball skills to be able to be as good as he is against the junk pitches he faces so I went in the game I happened to hit two when I walked into the store the next day and he looked at me he said “You’re trying to put me out of business aren’t you?” And that was a great great experience that I had as a rookie playing against the Yankees playing in New York there comes a skipper out of the dugout and he’s ready to make the move max Freed will give way and he’s responsible for the runner on second so the book isn’t closed on him yet we’ll be right back now pitching so they turn things over to the righty Jonathan still pretty early in the ball game so this bullpen has some work ahead of him best case scenario might be if he can come in here and get several quick outs kind of bridge the gap that starter left for him the batter now Kevin Newman fly to left his first time there’s a strike so did Super Joe give you two suits super Joe hooked me up with two suits come on Yankees strike two it might be time to choke up a little bit get that front foot down early maybe even just spread out he’s really late right now not close with that one and the count one and two o2 pitch that far out of the zone gives the hitter a little confidence that maybe he can climb back into this at bat one two now keeps the at bat going with a foul ball strike him out that’s two and it’s two and two [Music] comebacker to the mound one away here in the fifth the batter number nine shortstop Zack back to the top of the Angels lineup and the batter will be the shortstop zack Netto for two in this one sing you talk about a guy that has all the skills the range is really good but the arm just stands out and he makes all the plays just off the outside edge and it’s one and0 and because of that big power arm he’s able to play a little bit deeper make throws from the outfield grass all the way across the diamond and still get a pretty good runner that’s impressive one out the runner at second in the top of the fifth oh that’s that slurp right there he threw it extremely well talk about just a ton of break so tough to get that barrel to that one missing low hitter’s got some good opposite field power what I like about something being hit to the right side into the outfield is that the base runner at second has a very good read and can determine whether or not he can score on that base hit well he missed a hitable offspe pitch right there not sure exactly with the timing sometimes you get a backup breaking ball you’re expecting it to make its move at the end it never does and you’re tied up swing at a 3-2 a peel down to first no he held back that’s ball four very close off the outside corner could have easily been called a strike in that location and here’s the first baseman Nolan Showell he’s been really clutch with runners in scoring position this season so they’ll have to be extra careful in this matchup swing and a miss there’s that change up right there just pulled the string on the ground to the left and it gets by him rounds third headed for the plate one run across coming home the relay to the plate the tag out the base runner did a great job of making that a close play at the plate with an excellent slide made the catcher work to get out there and put down the tag the throw was on the money and that’s what made the difference big time player cut down a run and now batting Mike Trout one for two first pitch swinging it’s 0 and one shadowwell stands at second with two gone [Applause] and that one way outside one and one [Applause] [Applause] and that’s downed away really good take especially with two strikes [Applause] foul ball another 2-2 upcoming oh this is a good time to step out of the box take a deep breath reset couple of change ups probably won’t see another one here here’s a 2-2 and a foul ball he stays alive lisa fires knocks that one away and we’ll do it again [Applause] man on second two down out to short vulpi zips it to first that ends the inning and stops things from getting out of hand so they pick up a run on two hits no errors and a man left home half of the fifth coming up angels five and the Yankees two back in New York now the catcher comes up to him jc [Applause] Kikuchi back to work and there’s a ball you know these Yankees just lacking discipline at the plate in this ball game chasing pitches has been a big part of the story we’ve seen it quite a bit today it’s been tough for them to make contact at times and it just doesn’t look like they’re seeing it very well as a group just missed and on the mound you know confidence has to be pretty high with all of the swings and misses he’s had them eaten out of the palm of his hand pretty much all game very high with that one and the count is three and one fast ball for a strike and boy that was the pitch 3-1 you want to be really aggressive on the fast ball fouled off again and it remains three and two [Music] out to short needto throws to first he didn’t make things easy for him there but they still get the out well he’s doing a nice job of keeping the ball out of the air lets the defense work behind him with another ground ball good execution now it’s the second baseman Oswald PZA one for one with a single and a run scored so far that one finds the corner that’s strike one oh I think the key I mean if he can get through one more inning anything after that a hitter or two is bonus but they should be lined up good enough to get to the finish line and that’s in there for a strike and quickly nothing at two well he didn’t like those first two pitches now in an 02 hole he’s going to have to battle hope he gets a mistake yanks got it and that’s six Ks for him in this one well I think that’s a case of overthinking right there you got three straight fast balls looking in the 02 count just to pour it back so the lineup flips over here’s the Yankees leadoff hitter Trent Gisham and first offering is fouled off in for a strike good slider oh he’s got to be pretty proud of this outing so far sometimes guys cower coming into a ballpark like this but he has attacked hitters pitching on the road like this is very impressive this has been a treat to watch that one missed one two stays alive two outs swings through that one it’s a strike out nothing doing here this half we’re through five angels five and the Yankees two ryan Yarro takes over on the mound pretty tight game so they’re looking for quality pitches out of him right here got to do his best to keep the score right where it is number 33 rug so here’s the cleanup hitter Taylor Ward the left fielder number three Taylor Ward let’s go New York that one fouled off for you growing up in New York City I mean you’re a big sports fan tell me about your experience with the Yankees growing up i really went to Sha Stadium more than I did to Yankee Stadium i grew up a Phillies fan there was one game though that I went to as a kid i sat in the upper deck it was the game that Bo Jackson hit three homers in his first three plate appearances and then hurt a shoulder diving for Dion Sanders inside the park home run that’s probably the most memorable game that I ever attended as a fan at Old Yankee Stadium well that’s a blue zone right there or the cold zone on the hitting chart just doesn’t have much success in that part of the strike zone and a really good job of the pitcher executing try to go there as often as you can the numbers are in your favor and first offering is fouled off solair in his 10th season 33 years old and he was born in Cuba strike two 0 and two that smashed towards center and there are two down man that’s one of those at bats where you have to remind yourself it’s about the process he did everything right right there nothing to show for it but in your mind you have to convince yourself that it was a very good at bat travis Darno will come up to hit he really made his presence felt back in the fourth inning of this one singing absolutely three-run blast and a shot of energy for his teammates everyone in that dugout was pretty fired up come on Yankees in the air right field [Music] bellinger brings it in and that’ll do it offense held in check there 234 do up in the home half of the six angels five and the Yankees two back in the Bronx and now the first baseman Ben Rice first baseman Ben Rice and the first offer and a fast ball for a strike in the air out towards left center and he makes the catch and there’s one away the designated hitter number 99 Aaron it’s Aaron Judge now judge he’s not going to get cheated up there no he’s not he’s looking to do damage with every swing he takes line drive caught he was all over that fast ball right there i tell you what if he gets under it just by a fraction of an inch or a little bit more that’s way back here comes Cody Bellinger first pitch not close no with the shift on pits right into it he takes it himself to the bag and that’ll do it three up three down for him there seventh inning coming up angels five and the Yankees two now pitching new pitcher for the Yankees Yerry de los Santos well you see the ERA very solid and that doesn’t always tell you the whole story but he’s been really good so far this year now it’s the DH Luis Rangifo and that’s outside and that’s ball one you know these Angels digging into their numbers have to be happy with the swings they’re taking they’ve hit seven line drives already and even though some that one rifted right center field that’s down one hops off the wall into second easily with a leadoff double everything came together for him everything was mechanically sound with that swing right there i mean that’s pretty much what you’re wanting to replicate with every rep you take you want good balance barrel directly to the baseball and good long extension after contact out in front of home plate man there are a lot of doubles in a swing like that so up next Joe Adell he blasted one out earlier in the third just a solo home run but an important swing in the bat in this game we’ve already seen him do it once can he do it again well there’s a certain point where you have to commit to what you think you see and he guessed wrong right there nasty slider with just terrific bite at the end here’s a swing and a drive left field and he knew it another homer his second home run of the game and they throw a pair on the board it’s 72 singi the ball is jumping off his bat yes it is tons of loud contact man it’s been impressive a good hitter gets pitch recognition early he saw exactly where that was going to be the challenge not get over anxious and come out of your swing he stayed on it and got all of it and next for LA Kevin Newman [Music] right through there for a strike [Applause] that clips the corner definitely not a pitch location you’re expecting up there as a hitter when you know the guy’s got a good sinker ball if he can get in that location boy you’ve got to look top to bottom and that’s going to make it very difficult to hit [Applause] and that’s in the dirt that one not close now two and two nobody on nobody out a pair of runs across in the inning here in the top half of inning number seven tapped softly on the ground to first that’s the first out in the top of the seventh deceptive slider right there stayed in the tunnel a long time got that hitter out front rolled over it put it on the ground and now it’s going to be Zack Neto with this kind of lead he can swing freely try to hit the ball out of the park do what he loves to do just missed [Applause] right down the shoot and a count one and one well I think that pitch surprised all of us right down the middle doesn’t get a swing not very often you see a hitter lay off a cookie like that outside low and it’s two and one still only one out here in the inning on the ground to third chisum fires in time oh here we talk about how the ball is coming out of a pitcher’s hand the way it comes out of his hand as an infielder wow really impressive two outs space is empty nolan Showell the next to hit for the Angels and that drops in for a strike [Music] [Applause] [Music] and that’s a fair ball a late jump and I think that was the difference on the play it’s not always easy seeing the ball off the bat something to improve now Trout gets a chance to hit one for three and the first pitch misses for ball one shadow the runner at first with two gone ground ball up the middle that’s a base hit they stop the lead runner at second now two on with two outs the leftielder number manager out of the dugout and he’s going to make a change y de los Santos won’t go any further and the line not closed on him yet as he’s responsible for the runners on base back with a new pitcher after this now pitching for they hand the ball over to a new arm Tim Hill should be a good first match up for him here he’s been doing a great job against right-handed bats so far this season they’ve had a lot of trouble squaring him up first and second two outs here’s the left fielder and they hold him at second maybe this is going to be the moment they start the comeback well that’s one of those knocks where you almost expect to get some jabs from your teammates when you get back to the dugout just a really nice job of turning on that pitch and smoking it down the line and there’s no one playing there so once it drops in fair you’re on your way to extra bases now Ben Rice that power but then if this hitter gets a strike or two on him he’s still very comfortable because he has the ability to get the barrel to the baseball he’s a threat deep into the count as well fouled off of times guys try to throw over or around the runner which can really mess up a throw like that still definitely an error though first and second no outs neto now at the plate lifted in the air left home players can sort of come together connect a little bit more than they do when they’re at home with their families and that can breed to success on the field as we saw in this game today excellent
