  1. Happy with the sweep!

Less happy with HOW we got it. Need to clean things up.

But a sweep is a sweep and good teams win games they are supposed to. Let’s extend the W streak

  2. Schrodingers win. The Cardinals simultaneously deserved and did not deserve to win that game tonight lol

  3. I hope a sweep can give this club a little bit of confidence and momentum. But holy shit, the late inning mistakes this game, and there were multiple, easily could have lost the game for us tonight. I guess what I’m trying to say is I hope they can win and still learn from certain mistakes.

  4. Not sure that “effective pinch runner/defensive sub” was what I expected Jordan Walker to be in 2025 but I’ll take it.

  5. I thought Granillo should have been up last year. He is a relief card and has been for awhile. Getting younger and winning is the way to go. On to Cincinnati!

  6. Why doesn’t ESPN or mlb.com show a blown save for Leahy? He came in with a five-run lead and two runners on base, meaning the third batter up was potentially the tying run (same as starting the ninth with a three-run lead). Am I counting wrong or did they miss this?

(I realize that there is no blown save when you blow a situation that’s easier than a save — say, a four-run lead in the ninth — but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.)

  7. Shoutout Granillo for his first MLB Win and his first MLb Save on the same day in two different games!

  8. Poso and Herrera have pretty much an identical swing. Wonder who taught them? It seems to be working!

  9. Was at the game(s) today and had a great time. It got ugly for a second but two great wins for our boys

  10. Joshua Baez with two more moonshots tonight. Kid is really figuring some things out.

  11. Alls well that ends well as the old saying goes but game two did not sit well with me. I’ve been happy with Oli for the most part this year but I didn’t understand several of his moves in the 2nd game. Wondering why he 1)took McGreevy out after 5 innings. 2) why take o’Brien out after a dominant 6th 3)after Leahy loaded the bases in the 7th why didn’t he put in Romero to face the lefty Benitendi. 4)after the game was tied and the Cards had men on 2nd & 3rd with one out why not pinch hit with Wynn? Maybe there were legit reasons but this was almost the worst loss of the year. Good thing is they won and maybe Noot will get on a roll. Huge home run for him.

  12. Hey u/No-Elephant-9854 – Nootbar still taking Strikeout’s ABs? 1-9 and what can only be described as pathetic baserunning that could have been the game.

It’s time for Strikeout to make his annual pilgrimage to Memphis.
