he’ll go to second ward gets the ball in a lead on double for Paul Goldmid grounded and grabbed there by Neto no play infield single moving to third is Goldmith juds two for his last 25 he’s one for 11 in this series and he’s got an opportunity here runners on the corners nobody out swing and a miss judge down on strikes ground ball they get one on to first not in time a run will score on the fielders’s choice i think he’s safe what do you think i think so too and it’s a perfect slide by Bellinger too that’s how you teach it point that front toe to get there first after reviewing the call on the field stand the runner is out new York will lose their challenge so just like that the Yankees lose their challenge here in the first inning stanton loses a base hit he gets an RBI and Bill Miller said he did not go around oh my look Adele’s leaving he’s okay oh that’s a huge miss by Bill Miller at first base wow oh and so what should have been a strikeout now turns into a walk and you can see Rodon turns his back he’s pretty chapped about that as well as Kry goes down on strikes by allowing Adele to go to first now as you mentioned it’s up to Rodon to make sure that doesn’t happen fly ball right center boom gisham’s there to put it away and that’ll do it for the Angels in the fourth stay right here we go to the bottom of the inning yankees up by two after the inning Bill Miller came over to check out Carlos Rodon and he said “Hey it happens.” Good move by Rodon swing and a miss neto down on strikes well if you love baseball today is a special day because on this day Yankees as we go to the bottom of the sixth it’s inside try and battle it off fight it off dj’s known for driving that ball to the right side oh wow wow what a play they pick him off they’re going to try to get bumpy in a rund down and they do wells went too fast you have to wait till the pitcher releases the ball tub that was I you I’ve never seen that before absolute beautiful play by the Angels going into the next inning one three five six moore pops it up right field judge toward the line makes the play and Lighter retires the Angels in order one two overall pick that year right field going back wade he’s not going to get it ball bounces up against the wall and Gisham has himself a double hit shortly and through for a base hit gisham will round third wade comes up throwing here’s the throw it is not in time going to second is Bellinger and he’s out trying to stretch on the throw but an RBI single from Bellinger gives the Yankees a two-run lead they are up 5-3 up the middle grabbed there by Vulpi flips to Lameu and that’ll do it in the eighth no runs a hit and that one is fouled back judge didn’t know if it was foul back he was taking off the first base it was strike three but the home plate umpire Ortiz immediately said foul ball and then Travis Darnau said the same thing that thing that wasn’t a foul ball rico straight right off his glove i mean why would Judge run he would know if it was a foul ball better than anybody that was not a foul ball that one’s driven deep into left center field that ball is going to be one hop up against the wall judge gets himself a double he gets a reprieve on the strikeout a missed call and then takes the most of it and gets himself a double to start off the eighth burke checks the runner and deals and it’s a bunt and it’s a beauty and it’s going to be a base hit china trying to sacrifice and picked up a drag bunt single base is loaded nobody out soft ground ball is second they thought about coming home instead they go to first scoring is judged the other runners move up to second and third and the Yankees now lead 6-3 join out to left field ward on the run and will make the catch tagging is Dominguez he’ll score it’s a sack fly for Wells and the Yankees are up 73 so they will go to Devin Williams although it’s not a save situation he’ll try to nail down this victory and snap a six-game losing streak well Meredith told us earlier before the rain delay that there’s a good chance that Luke Weaver could come off the IIL as soon as tomorrow and then a tough decision for the Yankees who’s going to close because Weaver was great when he took over for Williams when R williams struggled at the beginning of the year and then Williams has been you know what he’s been with the Milwaukee Brewers since Weaver went on the IIL i guess you could go with matchups as Dornell goes down on strikes and take it game to game we’ll see how they they work that out down goes Adele on that air bender change up two-way and they get it granhifo down looking three strikeouts for Williams the nightmare is over the six-game losing streak is snapped and the offense wakes up and the Yankees salvage the final game of the four
