So apparently CBJ not on Marner’s list… yet. Columbus is no one’s fall back. No team is going to let him steal a 2 year huge contract with his past. Screw him, don’t mess with the mojo, and find someone who wants to be here and do something special. No cry baby quitters needed.

  1. As much fun as the idea was, he was probably never going to come here. I’m betting he goes to Anaheim.

  2. Funnily enough, you sound like the biggest cry baby. Stop being butthurt that players have a choice, especially players like Marner.

  3. Let’s be honest, he was never gonna come here. He likely wants to go to a viable contender. My prediction is and has been Vegas.

  4. Nope. Just saying his asking price is not worth his ego. He’s over valuing himself and his desire for only marquee destinations reeks of Panarin. Remember Carter? I’m saying don’t mess with a good thing and his past comments are indicative of what he thinks about C-bus. Dude just had a kid and he’d do well to consider being close to Toronto in a livable city.

  5. What a thin-skinned response, jfc. He said from the jump he was looking for a contender because he wants to win. He was never signing up for a rebuild. He’s ring-chasing. Only the most delusional fan could think we ever fit that profile.

Touch grass (briefly, it’s hot af out there) and chill out.

  6. titles misleading, all the article says about his list is the following.

‘The Vegas Golden Knights, the Stars and the Kings are among the teams that I believe are high on Marner’s list. The Stars would be a long-shot fit given their financial commitment to Mikko Rantanen, but never say never.’
