the Dallas Cowboys are officially completed with all of mandatory mini camp OTAAS and rookie mini camp as well and over the past couple of weeks and honestly the past month of practices they have seen this coaching staff has seen a couple of guys that are really starting to stand out and are positioning themselves to potentially break out this season for the Dallas Cowboys now in part one we talked about Cayer Elam um as well as um some other guys but in this video there’s a couple of other ones that I wasn’t able to mention so what I’m going to do in this video is break down another couple of players that I believe again are positioning themselves to be huge X factors for this Cowboys team going into this season however before we dive into the video I do want you guys to comment down below right now who do you think is going to potentially break out for this Cowboys team give me one player on each side of the football that you would predict to have a big year and with that being said let’s dive into the video now the first player that could potentially break out and I’ve heard nothing but really good things about him so far is no other than Miles Sanders their running back formerly of Philadelphia has played some other places as well the Panthers um but he is really starting to showcase his ability to be utilized in the receiving game right being a pass catcher out the back field he’s adding versatility he can run the ball he can catch the ball he can block for the court he could do a lot of things for your team right javvante Williams they believe he could be a really good player as well but this duo including Jaden Blue and Phil Mafa right this could be a really good running back room but nobody’s really talking about it now according to Nick Harris the Cowboys running back Miles Sanders got a few more opportunities with the first team unit today it’s been Sanders and Javvante Williams getting the chances with the ones in mandatory mini camp now I know you guys are excited about Jaden Blue from Texas and Phil Mafa as well who are guy who were both guys who had different types of games right jaden Blue is a really good pass catcher up the back field very elusive very quick right in and out of his cuts and then Phil Mafa downhill welcomes contact wants to run through you and over you right um now again I am extremely excited about this team right now in the running back room but again I think we should limit expectations for the rookies because Miles Sanders and Javvante Williams like I said and like they said they’re getting the first team reps and they’re doing really good things with them now I really do love the versatility of Miles Sanders um and you can line him up in multiple different spots because he can catch the football and right here you see the Panthers this is not him in the back field he’s actually over in this direction of the football field and the first thing that we read here is they’re overloading that right side of the field look at how many guys are down here right so what we’re going to do is this is kind of a read where you’re reading the defense and if they give you a look like this okay we love it so instead of actually handing the football off we’re going to get a little bit of eye candy going here we’re going to motion him across the formation if they’re loaded up like this on that side of the field we’re going to hand it off if they’re not loaded up we’re going to hand it off to the guy on the back field right so look at this play here we’re extremely loaded up boom we’re going to hand this ball off because they’re overloaded and look at this play by Miles Sanders right he’s got that speed he’s got that spring on his or in his step the guy can make a lot of big time plays still yes he is getting up there in age but he’s not um you know a guy that you can’t rely on he is he’s again and you can talk about Patrick Walker of Dallas Cowboys.com he said the veteran is showing a lot of spring in his step and it translates very well um to this Dallas Cowboys offense acting as a receiver coming out of the back field um you know there was occasion in mini camp where he had a touchdown pass from Dak Prescott in the red zone on an out route or an out route um in the red area so again he’s been thriving each and every single day and they’re really liking his versatility he’s also got really good vision as a running back as well look at this play here gets an outside zone he’s going to plant that right foot into the ground because he wants these linebackers to kind of block release on the inside opening up the outside right again great job here by Miles Sanders getting back you utilizing his blockers in space and then look at this stops on a dime acts like he’s going to cup the field gets his defender to slow down kind of freeze up a little bit and then stiff arms and roams around that corner for a nice pickup of yards right i love Miles Sanders now listen Brian Sha Shawn has made it clear that he likes an archetype for a running back that has dual threat ability unpredictability into an offense miles Sanders does add that right and while Jaden Blue maybe offers a little bit more explosiveness I guess you could say and more of a receiving threat Miles Sanders has been here and he’s done that for a long time and he’s been productive so I do think they’ll give Miles Sanders as much of an opportunity as anyone is going to get in this backfield to be a big- time player for them early on now before we get any further cuz there is another player I want to talk video now the other player that is taking this Dallas Cowboy coaching staff by storm is Joe Milton man this dude is an athletic freak of nature his arm strength is something I’ve never seen before and he’s got insane knowledge of the game okay so we’re gonna talk about Joe Milton for a second but I want you guys to let me know do you want to believe in Dak Prescott or are you on the ship that’s sailing right now that’s like let’s just go Joe Milton let me know where you stand on the quarterback situation who do you think should be the day one starter and who do you want to be the day one starter two very different things let me know all right and here’s something I wanted to read to you guys and let’s just do it right one player who really caught my attention was quarterback Joe Milton he’s very strong and makes throws down the field rolling to his uh offside look effortless you could tell he still needs to process the game a little faster but he’s a young player in a new system i’ll be fascinated to see how he performs during training camp and preseason games he has the tools to develop into something more for the Cowboys down the road but al also he offers competition dak Prescott now knows there’s someone here that can take his job okay and what that does is it lights a fire under Dak Prescott like hey if you don’t perform this year you got a really good chance to be gone he does not want to be gone okay so I do think that adding Joe Milton alone is going to make Dak Prescott a better player but overall when you look at Joe Milton and what he adds as a quarterback I mean you you see dynamic you see smart and you see just a freak of nature with the football in his hands right here scanning the field trying to find an open player it looks like they’re in the Tampa 2 defense which essentially means you got a cloud flat you got a hook curl you got a mid read you got a hook curl you got a flat over here and then you got your two eye safeties uh towards the top of your screen over here right so as he’s dropping back in the pocket he’s trying to find something we get immediate pressure up the middle up that A gap so he gets outside the pocket okay now the one thing I really want to show you guys about this play is right here he has all the ability in the world to turn this up the field and potentially go for a first down right he can he may get a blocker here maybe get a blocker here and maybe fight for a first down but the one thing I love about Joe Milton is he always keeps his eyes down the field because he knows right he is a threat running the football which means this guy’s gonna have to bite up right this guy’s gonna have to bite up this guy might have to bite up and what’s that going to do overall right with all these guys biting up it’s going to open up something over the middle of the field whether it’s here or here you got guys opening up so his ability to keep his eyes down the field get these guys to bite up and then boom look at this throws cross the field wide open dangerous throw right but perfect joe Milton is a smart football player athletic freak with incredible arm strength i love Joe Milton and he’s been blowing up at camp thus far and I think this is only the beginning i think he’s going to be huge for the Dallas Cowboys and I think he’s going to make one hell of a difference even if it’s just motivating Dak to be better now with that being said there’s been four players that I think have stood out so far but there are a couple of more that I can talk about right so if you
