LA Kings lose Game 3 as Jim Hiller’s gamble doesn’t pay off

the LA Kings put up a valiant effort in a hostile environment but also didn’t help themselves i’m Eddie Garcia a host of Locked in LA Kings the LA Kings lost to game three of the Stanley Cup playoffs in Edmonton by a score of 7 to4 but if you didn’t see the game don’t let that final score fool you it was a very close competitive game with LA holding a 4-3 lead with 6 minutes and 40 seconds to play but things changed dramatically in 10 seconds of game play edmonton’s Evander Kane kicked the puck into the net call on the ice was no goal but the call on the ice was overturned on video review and the game was tied kings head coach Jim Hiller then made the terrible decision to challenge for goalie interference even though there was no video evidence that there was any contact with the goalie Darcy Keer kings lost the challenge edmonton then scored immediately on the ensuing power play and took a 5-4 lead that they would never relinquish it also didn’t help that after the Kings battled hard to reclaim the lead after falling behind two nothing early they went into a defensive shell in the third period and basically took themselves out of the game one bright spot for the Kings continues to be the power play two more power play goals in game three kings are now seven for 12 in the series with a man advantage kings still lead the series two games to one game four comes up Sunday in Edmonton

The Kings lose Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the Oilers thanks to a lackluster third period, a questionable call and a very questionable decision by head coach Jim Hiller. #GoKingsGo
