BREAKING 🚨: D-backs’ Chase Field Renovation Bill APPROVED by State House

on Monday they moved just one step away from House Bill 2704 being finalized and approved for renovations to Chase Field the state house voted in favor of the $1.2 billion subsidy by a count of 35 to 20 moving the bill to Governor Katie Hobbs’s desk hobbs has been in favor of keeping the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chasefield and in downtown Phoenix she’s also been in favor of this particular bill and the way that it is constructed so her signing it should just be a formality this will allow the Diamondbacks to renovate Chase Field up to what they believe to be modern baseball stadium standards as well as allow the Diamondbacks to finally end their lease saga with Maricopa County their lease currently ends in 2027 these renovations at Chase Field will allow the Diamondbacks to sign a new lease and keep them here in the valley long term finally some good news for the Arizona Diamondbacks
