I guess you don’t know how to read. You know where it says that they were to finish their already in place missions and they had 12 hours.
You ever been cooking popcorn in the microwave and it gets to a point where it sounds like it’s been a couple seconds since the last pop so you assume the popcorn is done but it was actually just a slight delay and your bag is still filled with a lot of unpopped kernels?
That’s basically what Donnie did, but instead of popcorn popping, he felt the temporary silence of these two not bombing the fuck out of each other and was like “yup, wars over baby!”.
I feel like they know icing the kicker isn’t effective but it’s usally the only thing you can do in those situations
