going to talk about.” And so we pretty much did we pretty much did a show on hunting and fishing and ranching on 570 Cliff i think it was every Friday half hour show we go to a restaurant whatever and I go “Okay now I got to go to the sales department and get the money how much do you need to get paid and instead of asking how much what’s the going rate he goes “Can you get me a tractor?” I go “What do you mean?” He goes “Can you get me a like a big John Deere lawn mower and tractor?” That’s what he wanted for his payment and that’s what he got michael Cox so fish you hunt fish and ranch no I just hosted a show on it but it was good it was good because it was so Wasn’t good because of me it was good because it was so different the Jay Novachek show not about football yes one of the finest uh radio shows in Dallas radio history and now you can hit the like button so um Mike Florio last night Pro Football Talk he twe he tweets a tease tomorrow he says Tuesday it’s going to be incredibly big news buckle up your jockstrap sports fans and you know I know Florida a little bit and I’m watching this going I I bet you’re wrong i bet there’s going to be big news about something that you care about and I guess the big news is there’s been a ruling or the courts or some that the that NFL owners they’re guilty of collusion they are what you mean they they occasionally these guys these billionaires sometimes sit in a room together drinking their Johnny Walker blue in complete privacy and every once in a while say why do we not give all the quarterbacks guaranteed money dumb Jimmy Hasslam and Cleveland why Why don’t we stop that you’re like “So they don’t get a little drunk and ever say that?” Because I think they do i think they do i know they do and furthermore and here’s where Florio no offense to him he he he you know he loves this stuff he doesn’t understand that you don’t you don’t care and the easily explanation why you don’t care is it’s an argument first of all if it’s even an argument it’s an argument between millionaires and billionaires why do you care and second of all that’s what the players association is for i don’t care chris and Raisin Sack and Michael MP and Steve and Ste you don’t care let the NFL players association care and guess what their members don’t care this union if you can call it that will never go on strike again because on on a selfish level with all due respect they have they have a four-year shelf life so I’m gonna I’m gonna go I’m going to go on strike with my union and maybe lose one or two of those years of my four years so my my next generation can get guaranteed contract not only MP do you not care they don’t care otherwise they do it yeah if you got news about a Cowboy player being suspended the rules around here is you have to provide the link and if you can show me the link I I I can find out live if it’s true i can almost guarantee you I can find out live but you got to give me the link or I because I’m I’m not otherwise I’m not going to waste the text make sense an argument between billionaires and millionaires and not even the millionaires care so why should you care steve quarterbacks need their own salary cap separate from the regular salary cap agreed and something else i’m all for guaranteed money i mean I’m all for them getting everything they can they literally risk their necks union I’d get in a union you have your union and by the way why does this union never do anything why does the NFL PA never do anything never win anything never succeed at anything that’s right there’s three reasons one because they have a raisin for a brain two they have raisins for biceps and three they got raisins for balls item six uh I can’t remember who wrote this somebody is suggesting that suddenly Sam Williams is expendable no no um the hardest thing to find in the NFL is a quarterback by far what’s the second hardest thing to find i say I say it’s somebody that can go get and it’ be nice if he can do other things too somebody that you can’t block who gets to the quarterback and disrupts games uh finding a Micah Parsons finding a Miles Garrett those are the hardest things to do so and this organization dating way back has actually been pretty smart about this i need all of them yeah left tackle used to be and still it’s high on the list but there’s more there’s there’s more guys in the NFL that are close to being great tackles left tackles than there are guys who like we have to totally game plan around that pass rusher in fact um you know who’s catching up phil philosophically here in the NFC East is the Giants they’re doing some of that and you know who’s falling behind there i don’t know if the Eagles and the Commanders will suffer the Commanders pass rush is not good not going to be good and the Eagles are trying to piece it together no sam Williams i mean and I got I got Micah i got Dante i got Easy i got Sam i’ll take all four of them i’ll take all four of them i’ll keep all four of them if Sam Williams doesn’t get his act together and get his head screwed on that’s different then he’s not going to last very long in the league but Sam Williams is doing all the things physically he he looks physically very impressive more than ever uh and I’ I’ve watched him work with Brit Brown i mean I’ve watched him run and cut he’s going to be fine physically get your head screwed on tighter and you can be really fine as a football player too i’m not giving that away absolutely not item seven so there’s some worry about Dion Sanders health
