I remember two years ago I referred Tarry as the tank commander since we were racing to the bottom for Bedard. Then this person said the following that Tarey is the tank destroyer and should have sent Jet: https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueJackets/s/P9Q723JK8u Good times.
Unless something comes up, Jet is most likely to stay here at the start of the season and has a shot for the starter spot.
Hopefully the Panthers can unlock something in him. Kid deserves a shot somewhere.

As predicted, it’s Elvis and Jet. Unless something radical happens with that big-ass contract… and we’re gonna need some depth signings either way.

Man I’m glad we got something for him but I also feel really bad– it’s not his fault he had glass bones and paper skin or that he missed so much development.

I didn’t expect us to get anything for him, so even a 5th rounder works. Whether he figures it or not, no longer matters. Clearly the coaching staff lost faith in him and he was gone well before season’s end.
