That salad was ass
A split isn’t the end of the world, but it sucks after winning the first two
guy was 100% just hype and yelling that he got outta the jam he created but i’ll always appreciate Willson being just like Yadi and trying to take any opportunity to fire the team up lol
Streaky team gonna be streaky
It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times
Love the fire at the end. Can it be the 4th of July yet?
We’ll see these fuckers next weekend. Can’t wait.
Limp dick game.
Went an unfathomable 7-47 (.143) BABIP on balls in play the last two games. A little bit of bad luck, but mainly because of just terrible contact. Getting so sick of watching guys hit weak fly balls every AB

Now I get why they call it Busch stadium.
I wanted the opposite of this
Halfway through the season I think we’re a good team that can maybe sneak in as a WC, but I don’t think we can win the division. Still a better season than I was expecting and lots to play for and I’m more optimistic about our future than I was a few months ago.
This team is just not fun to watch.
Follow up the biggest win of the season by getting shut out in back to back games. This team ain’t it, and we should be selling at the deadline still
Cubs fan coming in peace.
Good series. I swear Cubs vs. Cards is just cinema. Records don’t matter when these two teams face off as it will be a close game 9 times out of 10.
This will be a fun divisional race but has your front office decided to win or lose as this gives me Greenbay Packer vibes. Either way, I hope to catch Cubs vs. Cards at Wrigley. I still need to get Busch one of these days.
yuck
2-2 home split feels like a series loss. Cubs pitched great the last 2 games, and the offense against lefties was non-existent.
Super disappointed. I need a break from this toxic wild ride. See you tomorrow.
At a stoplight, I saw a guy with a Cardinals license plate. I live in Florida so I don’t see a lot of these. Check the score and 2 men are on with no outs in the 9th. Thought it was a sign.
Oh well. I’ll take a split
Pallante now has 5th worst ERA+ and 7th worst WHIP in NL. Feelsbad.
Is zero runs over two games a lot?
At least one of my teams had some fight in their current series. No 26 inning scoring drought for my birdies 😭
Gorman how do you sit there at 2-2 with 2 outs and not swing?

Infinite sadness
Bad: Cardinals get shut out.
Good: Judging by the lyric quoted in the 9th, Chip listens to Steven Wilson.
The division will come down to the trade deadline, will the Cubs get thier SP to compete, will the Brewery get the Bat they need?
Cards im hopeful wildcard or just may retool at deadline, im not expecting much.
2-2 for this series is probably the best outcome for us. Would’ve been **REAL BAD** if we lost the series 1-3. Could it have been better if we won this game? Absolutely. There’s next week for us to go big.
My god this offense is bipolar
No matter what happens, I am enjoying this season way more than the last 2 or 3.

Double rats
I will never understand a “fan” who gets excited about a Cardinal loss because they get an opportunity to rub it in other fans faces that the team sucks. Even after 2 great wins against a great team, these people STILL aren’t content. What, because we lost a game? News flash! We will lose games again! And we will win plenty as well.
If there was ever a way to do fandom wrong, that’s the way.
Did Brendan Donovan seriously not get elected to the all star game for second base?
PCA looks like a giant rat
Honestly, splitting the series isn’t a horrible outcome. I was nervous for this series, even if you won’t admit it, you probably were to. What’s important is we keep winning games, and hoping these trash baby bears lose.
I have never been to a cardinals game and experienced as many cubs fans cheering as I did today. I swear over half the stadium were cubs fans.
Not good at all. At home. You gotta win that series against your rival. And half the stadium was cubs fans. Embarrassing tbh.
22 innings without a run scored.
What’s the club record?
