2. People in here lately have been shitting all over the doomers of this sub trying to tell us how to live. Yall don’t understand there’s levels to being a doomer. Some of us have really been here suffering since the beginning. My grandpa watched us suck, my dad (grew up here) thought this team sucked so much he became a padres fan, and I’ve watched this team suck. We’ve put in the work, we deserve to be here just as much as anyone else. And doom doesn’t automatically=gloom. And just because we’re doomers doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy the little wins along the way. Trust me, we want this team to win just as much as anyone . A lot of us are just tired of being all chipper happy go lucky when it comes to the game of baseball. It’s an old man’s sport, our past time. Let us be grumpy old men if we want to be.
