I’ve NEVER seen a team go this hard

all right i know i said i was done for the season but not since maybe the ovetchkin cup win thank you megas have we seen a post-win run quite like this year’s florida panthers they have been absolutely living it up the cup had damage almost immediately barkov was knocking on his neighbor’s front door at 5:00 a.m to show him the cup turn your lights on it’s dark out here you asked for this marshon being the nice guy he is has made the rounds thanking teams for letting players go to the florida panthers all those teams making bad decisions to get rid of guys and our team making incredible decisions to bring them all in as they have gone full throttle non-stop since their win and it’s honestly pretty fun to watch but in the process they have thrown quite a few strays [Music] conor mcdavid who [Applause] which has led to many calling them the most classless champs of all time that the oilers are still in their heads they’re a despicable team whatever else you can think of they’ve been called it but that leads us to today today was the florida parade which by the way not a bad turnout during their speeches sam bennett addressed the comments they’ve been receiving i would like to take this time to to apologize to absolutely no one we’re the double champs let’s go so again fans i’m sure we’ll be riled up but here’s the deal this was reportedly the nastiest trashtalking cup final ever seen with nothing off limits and you think that wasn’t going both ways i can only imagine the chirps that were flying on the ice and so if you thought the winning team wasn’t going to rub that in the face of the losing team i don’t know what to tell you but more than anything i just think this is the type of stuff that bruise awesome rivalries to watch going forward mcdavid and the oilers i’m sure are watching this and are just chomping at trying to run it back next season and if you can’t handle or don’t want to see players personalities then maybe stop asking for it if you’re a team that goes backto back all the while having fans call your fans non-existent despite that clearly not being the case you have the hockey media in large part at least in my opinion never truly giving the panthers their flowers like what if mcdavid scored a goal like this in the stanley cup winning game and went on to put up a fourgoal game you don’t think that’d be talked about just a tad bit more i don’t know maybe i’m wrong but i’m also a neutral here so i’m sure i don’t see it as clear as i’m sure oilers fans are but yeah you guys let me know your thoughts and i appreciate you watching

They have been absolutely living it up, Sasha Barkov was knocking on his neighbours front door at 5 am to show him the cup, Brad Marchand has been trolling maybe the most making the rounds taking photos of team mates and thanking their former teams for sending them to Florida, they’ve been chanting F*** the Oilers as well as *Fuck McDavid and all of it has led to some fans calling the Panthers out as classless, sore winners, despicable and more. It all led up to todays Florida Panthers Cup Parade where Sam Bennett addressed the remarks in hilarious fashion stating he’d like to apologize “to absolutely f***ing no one* . Now this was called the nastiest trash talking Stanley Cup Final ever, so I can understand why players on the winning side would rub in the victory as much as possible, but maybe I’m wrong and they’ve taken it too far. You guys let me know! I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video.

  1. None neutral Panthers fan here. Loving every minute these guys are celebrating their astounding back to back titles. South Florida teams are always disrespected by outside media so nothing new. Can't wait till next season and go cats!!

  6. You hit the nail on the head, for 3 years people slept on the Panthers and never gave them credit for just how good they were. Most of the narrative in the these last two cups were every reason/excuse under the sun about why the Oilers were losing, instead of everything the Panthers were doing right to win.

  11. Let's be honest, if McDavid had won and scored 4 goals in the last game of the series, he'd be elected to the HOF the next week and NHL TV and Radio would be talking about it non-stop. Instead, they forget the guy who scored almost 60 goals only a season ago and who exploded for 4 in the last game of the series. its ok, I'm sure he'll get over it.

  12. They all said it was Conner McDavid’s cup to lose. Hockey is a team sport and the teams that show up and get to work end up wining. I’m neutral and feel like this was an underdog story all year long and the Panthers are just reminding the hockey world they came to play. If they get ignored again next year it could be three.

  14. Buddy, as an Oiler fan the whole hockey world gives Florida props. They are an incredible team. Nobody in Edmonton thinks otherwise. Davo took it on the chin like he always does. Was nothing but class. He gave Florida full props and made no excuses. He’s the face of the league and a true professional. The Panthers on the other hand are the sorest winners I’ve ever seen. It’s gonna be pretty awkward for the two classless f*cktards being Marchand and Bennett at the Olympics next year being on McDavids team. Too stupid to think 5 minute ahead I guess.

  23. Oilers choked twice , they’ve got one great line and 3 other lines are non existent, they’ve panthers have 4 lines working for them. The better team won fair and square.
