  1. This paper has been known to be pretty positive about the move, just read some of their articles about the team from a year or two ago. But this article paints JF as somebody who is way over his head.

    > “Sadly, prices for big construction projects always seem to go up and we have our budget meetings and actually at the last one it came down a little bit; like a real little bit. I was like, ‘This is something to be celebrated,’” Fisher said.

At this point I don’t think he even wants to make this happen. All the other quotes from Fisher make it look like his understanding of business is super basic. This silver spoon hasn’t had to work a day in his life. No wonder he doesn’t have skills.

    > “For us, having outside investors … especially local investors, is something that would make the A’s an even stronger brand,” Fisher said.

    > The team already has a “number” of commitments from potential investors, Fisher said, but none were ready to be officially announced.

    Yeah, zero’s a number.

  2. I want as much egg on the face of John Fisher and all his asshole billionaire buddies, Manfred and whoever else.

    MORE EGG I SAY!

  3. yo Fishead, Sell The Team, already. You’re in over your head, jonny boy.

  4. JF has a very consistent track record of being unable to build a stadium

  5. I hope this turns out to be a massive failure for Fisher and huge embarrassment for Manfred for supporting him.

  6. Lmao at the steel tariffs being cited as an increased cost. Fisher %100 voted for that.
