two of the series Game one happens on Friday evening I’m recording this Friday afternoon so I don’t know what the result of that game will be But man the Angels are streaking right now And this Angels team that’s how they’ve been all season They get really hot they get really cold and you know with them coming off a sweep against the Red Sox they’re not a team I’m rushing to fade right now They are not a team I’m rushing to fade I mean what we saw this team go on like a 10ame winning streak They swept the Dodgers earlier this season Like I said when the Angels get hot when those bats are going this team is good They’re a good team Um which I thought coming into this season the Angels were going to be one of the worst teams in the league and that’s just not the case So shout out the Angels Shout out the Angels Um one thing I do want to say though they do have Kyle Hendricks on the mound which I’m not a Kyle Hendricks guy guys I I’ve been pretty vocal about that You know I just think he’s way past his prime He’s one of these these older gentlemen that keep giving it a run year after year And I just think it’s going to get worse and worse as his careerh progresses You know he had that amazing start against the Yankees where he had what 10 strikeouts zero earned runs How many strikeouts did he have in that game Oh he had nine nine Ks zero earned runs only allowed four hits but the Yankees were ice cold in that game Um he’s allowed three or more runs in what four of his last six starts As good as the Angels are playing in this one or playing right now I still refuse to back Kyle Hendricks I I refuse to put my hard-earned money backing Kyle Hendrickx So unfortunately that just cancels out the Angels for me It cancels out the Angels for me Like I got non-negotiables and betting Kyle Hendrickx in 2025 is one of those non-negotiables I just won’t do it I just won’t do it On the other hand Michael Sroa takes him out for the Nationals He hasn’t really been that great either guys I mean what’s Michael Sroa’s RA A 506 RA Yeah it’s not pretty either Um I think both these offenses have success I think we see some runs in this game It’s going to be a nice night in Anaheim for some wind blowing out in the outfield Two pitchers that I want to fade I think you guys know where I’m going with this man I’m going to take an over I’m going to take an over Um yeah just want to fade both these guys in I like the Nationals offense I love the top I love C.J Abrams and I love James Wood Those are two of my favorite players in all of MLB Um I think there’s a lot of young talent in this Nationals offense that could really exploit Kyle Hendrickx here And then with the way the Angels have been playing I think they should be able to hit the ball too off Sro So I like an over If I were to take a side maybe I’ll lean towards the Nationals getting some plus money Um I don’t think you should lay I don’t think there should be a game where Kyle Hendris is a minus 135 favorite That’s just that’s just crazy to me Um that’s just absolutely crazy to me So over is going to be my play A lean towards the Nationals but like I said I think the over is probably the safest
