It helps that I’m a Cincy fan 2nd, but I still think it was a smart trade. Our pitching staff right now is pretty stacked and we needed more bats (although that’s pre-season thinking before Garcia stopped playing around and showed us what he can actually do). All that said, my first time seeing him pitch we were actually sitting front row crown club… and Angel Hernandez was behind the plate. Watching Singer, being new and looking all baby faced, scream FUCK YOU! at Hernandez after getting tossed is a core memory. 🤣 Also we met him a few times at different events and he’s a really likeable dude.
