the Detroit Pistons have selected Chaz Laneir 6’5 out of Tennessee shooting guard absolute sniper from three shot a crazy amount of threes over 40% you guys are really going to like him i think with just all the free agency questions that the Pistons have right now like a Malik Beasley a Tim Hardway Jr and a Dennis Schroeder to me this is a Tim Hardaway Jr replacement um I I think what the Pistons are kind of thinking is you know we had Malik Beasley and THJ shoot a lot of threes and they made a lot of them i think Chaz can definitely fill into that THJ role i do want to give myself a pat on the back you guys your boy was right back-to-back gears I’ve called who I thought the Detroit Pistons were going to select with their draft pick uh Chaz was kind of a no-brainer for me because I’m just thinking like you know if you lose THJ you want shooting and the only two players I thought in their range at 37 if they were going to go shooting was Kobe Brea or Chaz Laneir i think a lot of you guys will really like Chaz and I I think he’s ready to contribute right now if you do ask me but let me know what you guys think of the Detroit Pistons draft selection of Chaz Lineer tonight talk to you in the comments section

  1. The Lanier pick will still have to grow on me , he’s solid and from what everybody is saying he’s a shooting threat that Cade could benefit from a lot but solid pick tbh

Break down the roster and he can push twin and r2 for minutes if they cannot hit open shots which is our weakness our 3&D players cannot hit open shots we need another big off the bench that can score offense does get stagnant on the block 2nd unit we need that to increase the spacing cause we are an inside outside motion offense we dont score in the paint the perimeter shots are more difficult to get and make I like this pick I wanted brea but this is definitely an A grade for this class

  5. Looking at the roster right now: cade pg, Ivey sg, ausur sf, Tobias pf, duren c, bench guards sasser and the new guy, forwards tech and stew. This makes me want Schroeder more and we need a pf desperately

  6. Good THJ replacement, but we NEED to have a floor spacing defensive big. The playoffs were low key dominated by them outside of the taller ball dominate guards, and we already have that

  7. Hardaway gone schroeder gone most likely beasly is same type ivey eating minutes as he should money could go to big man addition like our own Smith in g league.

  10. He'll never play. We'll see him in Summer League, and then we'll never see him or hear about him until Summer League the NEXT year. That's how 2nd round draft picks work for the Pistons

  12. Not sure where minutes are coming from. If we re-sign Beasley, will JB use a rotation of 4 guards? Does he have solid playmaking skills where he is capable of playing some PG?

  13. He’s compared to THJ, Beasley and Devonchinso probably spelling that wrong lol do you think he’ll earn playing time? Also will this mean someone is definitely gone?

  14. You all will love Chaz. Works his ass off. Super coachable. More athletic than given credit. Just scratching the surface of his full 2 way potential. Steal for Detroit imo.

  15. hopefully he get playing time, most our other 2nd round picks always go to G League.. I really do not see him as a replacement to anyone until we know he will play minutes in NBA.
