Not bad. Probably clearing up some cap space as well for a future signing.
He didn’t produce much last year.
Always liked Maccelli’s game. One of those “playoff dogs.” Good for Toronto, opens roster spots for our young guns. 🤷♂️

As a following Coyotes fan, this trade is a backbreaker. He was legitimately my favorite player his first 2 seasons and I hated how they used him this year.
I really hope he tears it up in Toronto and gets the opportunity he deserves. He’s got the best vision and raw playmaking ability I’ve ever seen.
He was absolutely fantastic in AZ, but definitely lost a step once the relocation and new season started. I hope that a change of scenery is what he needs; his passing and playmaking ability is really, really high.
Kind of sad to see, I thought he played well last year, just seemed like the odd man out. Didn’t quite fit in with the third line which became the crouse/McBain/doan bruiser forechecking line, didn’t really fit in with the top 6. He also couldn’t hit the net, like all his shots went wide and was healthy scratched for like half the year.
