  6. Vegas was forced into this by the tampering threat’s. Which means they were tampering 100%. The NHL should void the contract, the trade, fine Marner and take Vegas draft picks away

  25. Marner signed for a lower percentage of the cap in Vegas than he did as an RFA in Toronto… lmao guy signs a team friendly deal for Vegas instead of his hometown team, and still has the nerve to say he loves/loved Toronto

  27. Vegas can get absolutely fucked with their obvious cap circumventing. How convenient that they trade for a $12 mill player and one of their defencemen who played 71 regular season games and all playoff games is all of a sudden hurt

    Mitch Marner had a full no-movement clause in his contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. So like, there was no real reason for Vegas to be talking to him, or his agent, at all prior to FA opening.

    This has got to be tampering, like, how is it not???

  34. 12 million. Less than the 13.5 we offered him. Vegas is a no tax state so it’s likely the same but it’s clear, he wanted out.

    I like Vegas because they are always trying to be in the mix. It’s good for the game.
