1. Yes and no. The rising cap obviously gives them some room to work with but their players have taken some insanely team friendly deals to stay. You have to give Zito, Maurice and that locker room a ton of credit for the culture they’ve built

4. I never realized how many Bolts fans here creamed themselves over the Panthers. Learn something new everyday.

5. If we’re being honest, the Lightning could have and probably should have achieved even more than they did in their window, specially on the front end of it. That’s saying a lot considering all they were able to do.

   Florida will continue to be good but make no mistake making it to a 4th straight finals will not be easy, let alone a 3-peat, as we well know. I don’t care how stacked their roster is. 1 injury at a bad time can also change everything. 

6. with cap increase also increases the ask from players. Given a player worth 5 mil on the market with cap increase he now can ask for 6 mills. If you have multiple players to sign off season pretty much the dap I crease will eat it all.
   Panters just did a really good job convincing players to sign with them
