BREAKING: Edmonton Oilers trade Viktor Arvidsson to Bruins

the Edmonton Oilers are trading Victor Ardson to the Boston Bruins in what’s looking like will be a pure cap dump So they can get a little bit busy here in free agency Ason comes with a $4 million cap hit So that’ll be straight off the Bucks as the others like I said look to increase and be a bit more flexible as free agency begins Ason struggled in his time in Edmonton Two-year deal lasting only one year 15 goals 27 points to 67 games Really slow start for Robinson Didn’t score till his 11th game with the Others which ironically was against his former team the Nashville Predators Tons of opportunities in the top six especially next to Leon Dry Saddle but couldn’t find his feet Healthy scratches in the playoffs a few times through including game six which was the last game against the Florida Panthers And I feel like that was the final nail in the coffin for the organization as they both agreed that it was time to move on Only two goals for Robertson as well in the postse postseason but he have a huge goal against the Florida Panthers in the opening game of the Stanley Cup final Like I said off the jump comes with a $4 million cap which now opens that up to just over $4.5 million for the Edmonton Oilers to play with Now if they send down someone like Max Jones for example who has a more $1 million capit they would get up to $5.5 million to play with here as they continue on in free agency which opens up shortly Rock Bessa and Andrew Mania look to be the players rumored and linked with Edmonton Now obviously they can’t afford both of them but maybe one or the other and we’ll see There’s still speculation about Cory Perry’s future as well but we’ll keep you locked in here on Oilers Nation and Tyler and I will be live at 100 p.m Mountain time for Oilers Nation every day So stay locked in on the nation YouTube for all of that and we’ll be back with some more breaking news later

The Edmonton Oilers have made a move, trading away Viktor Arvidsson to the Boston Bruins. The trade aims to create cap space and bring some flexibility as the team navigates the free agency market. Stay tuned for further updates on the Edmonton Oilers!

  1. Honestly. Take all the late round picks you can get. Take swings and who knows. Gotta get as many younger players coming up and into the system.

  2. Step 1. Play in cup finals.
Step 2. Trade various players for nothing.
Step 3. Shine up golf clubs and book some June 2026 tee times.
