[Charania] Free agent sharpshooter Tim Hardaway Jr. has agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN. Hardaway had a strong season for the Pistons' resurgent 2024-25 campaign and now Denver officials finalize a deal with Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports.
Update: Denver prioritized a shooter in free agency Tuesday — and adds Hardaway to its acquisitions of Cam Johnson, Bruce Brown Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas in the last day.

I cannot believe this front office has made all of these moves. I’m so excited for the season.
They’re winning it all, I really believe they are
They can actually shoot 3s instead of being league worst in that category
Isn’t this guy a terrorist? Hopefully just a vet min?
Jokic gets help. Damn.
Nuggets got depth and more shooting??! Oh shit
Winners of the offseason alongside Houston for sure
denver is having the best offseason a team can have without adding a superstar
They got their Houston slayer, he always goes off against us lmao
Denver, stop.
Well just lock in Duncan to the pistons now I guess
Why Nuggets kinda cooking
Jokic is coming for ring no. 2
We have bench?
Jokic with shooters to disuade swarms and aggressive doubles upon entry passes is awesome. Nuggets having a SSS tier off season
This new GM got Jokic a backup and bench in one summer compared to previous GM
Is this the best debut from a GM ever?
Listen, Brown, Valanciunas and Hardaway Jr are not amazing players, but this is a team that legit needs NBA professionals that can be on the floor. It’s alarming how few they had last year.
I actually love this for Denver. Tim coming off the bench will win you games and when he’s off you just don’t play him.
THAT’S MY CHUCKER!!
The others were definite upgrades, this is like a…we’ll see. Better 8th/9th man than they got now at least
Nuggets went from extremely top heavy to having depth. Makes you wonder wtf their old gm was doing
Ain’t no way. How ass was Calvin Booth? Holy shit
that firing of Calvin Booth is paying off…..
Dawg wtf
West is fucking stacked next year and I’m all for it. Crazy ass day for NBA FA today though.
good for denver
Calvin Booth truly must have been spending every waking hour plotting against and feuding with Mike Malone. Declining every call an opposing GM made because he needed to focus on his battle plans to one-up his employee.
Nuggets saw they needed depth and actually decided to address it!
New GM absolutely whooping ass this offseason
This is insane how Denver was able to put together rotation level players in two weeks whereas Booth had years and didn’t add much to the Nuggets depth.
THJ is a regular season innings eater and someone who can keep your guys fresh til the playoffs. Even come in the game for 5-8 minutes and maybe hit a 3 or two.
Denver front office is cooking. Doesn’t even matter if the Nuggets bench outscores the opponent or not, the main issue the past couple years was that they were a net negative. Now Jokic can finally play moderate minutes and he won’t get run into the ground before the playoffs. Scary for the rest of the league
Keep up Rob, we are going to get cooked again
Wow, a steal for the vet minimum.
Sharpshooter is a bit much no?
It is not hyperbole to say these past 24 hours have been the one of the wildest, most successful on paper sequences Denver FO has made during the offseason in franchise history.
At minimum this rivals the KCP/BB signings in summer 2022 and the Gary Harris for AG trade mid season in 2021.
Booth should NEVER be allowed near another FO. MFer offered player options to Reggie Jackson, Zeke Nnaji, Russell Westbrook, and Dario Saric and dealt 3 2nd rounders just to unload Reggie Jackson 12 months later. Fucking dipshit.
Nuggets FO really did some work this week.
Nuggets are really in win now mode. We’ve seen that OKC aren’t unbeatable tbf. They didn’t exactly dog walk their way to the championship
