Yankees just got embarrassed by the Toronto Blue Jays

He’s trying to bounce back after an ugly loss yesterday. And believe it or not, they actually string something together in their first inning and get a two out hit. And I’ll be honest, I had other plans for this video, but Doug Edings, the homeplayed umpire, has taken me in a different direction. He has been so bad so far in this baseball game. I don’t think I’d be exaggerating when I say it might be the worst start that an umpire has had to any game this entire season. And I’m talking about for both teams, Yankees and the Blue Jays. And then he even has the balls to tell John Snder, “Do you want to go when Snyder starts to argue a little bit?”
Fast ball and he didn’t get the call. And Gosman is steamed and he is giving Doug Eddings an earful. And John Schneider was about ready to come onto the field and you can understand from Gossman or any pitcher’s point of view, he just might have made the best pitch he’s made today and didn’t get the call. The reason that’s such a big pitch for Kevin is he doesn’t do
through the first four and a half innings. Doug Edings missed 11 calls already. Meanwhile, the Yankees had a two nothing lead. It is now 4 to2 Toronto as I’m editing this freaking video. George Springer hits a solo home run and Jimenez hits a three-run home run. And remember how I praise the Yankees for getting a hit with runners in scoring position in the first? They are 0 for8 since then, including this inning where they were down 4-2 just after the Blue Jays took the lead. First and second, nobody out after Judge singles and Jazz walks. Stanton strikes out. Dominguez flies out to center and Vulpi grounds out to third. So, as of right now, through six innings, they are one for nine with runners in scoring position. And then the next inning, the Yankees have first and second, nobody out again. Jazz grounds out, but he’s safe at first. So, first and third now, one out. And the Blue Jays actually look like the Yankees here making back-to- back errors, which allows the Yankees to tie the game without actually getting a hit with runners in scoring position. So, if you’re keeping track, that’s one for 12 today since the first inning. And if you have headphones in or you’re watching this on TV, lower the volume just a little bit. Here we go into the seventh inning. And Mark Lighter is brought into the baseball game. Why? I don’t know. But gets really stupid really fast. After a single and a walk, lighter day is done and Weaver comes into the game. Why not just give Weaver the inning to start with? No idea. It’s Aaron Boon. And it appears that Weaver actually strikes out Addison Burgerer here, but no. JC Escar puts his fat mitt in the way again. And it’s catchers interference for the second game in a row. Ernie Clement hits a base hit here. Should Anthony Vulpi have come up with this ball? I don’t know. It’s not an easy play. I’m not going to get on Vulpi for that. But now the bases are loaded. The Yankees are down 5-4. George Springer is coming to the plate. And can you guess what happens? And a highf fly ball to left center field. It’s going and it is gone.

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays 7/1/25
this is the most all over the place Baseball team I have ever seen.

JC Escarra catchers interference
George Springer grand slam
Mark Leiter Jr in the game
Yankees can’t hit with runners in scoring position

  1. Yankees look very very poor, weak lackadaisical and pathetic. No backbone no guts always ready to concede defeat at the slightest challenge

  2. I'm reading some of the comments.
I agree with them. If you're being targeted, you just got a new sub.
I'll make sure to share your vids on my social media.

  3. FIRE AARON BOONE DFA DJ TRADE VOLPE!!! Judge and Stanton aren’t getting any younger you have to put the best product on the field and win NOW!!!!

  4. Blue Jays bottom of the lineup is on base all the time, Yankees bottom guys are rarely on base, maybe Lemahieu at least once and that is it…………….Blue Jays whole team scores runs. Guerrero jr. O for 5 but Jays get 12 runs, wth………..

  5. Yeah the Yanks are having a run of games with brain farts. We all know this and I would rather bring up another point/observation…..

The Blue Jays have become an exciting young team to watch. I’m Canadian so I follow Toronto as much as I do the Yanks. I’ve been a Yankee fan since 1977, my first memory of watching baseball was the World Series that season. A few years later when I was old enough to know more teams I became a Jays fan as well.

Ernie Clement, man this guy is good at making contact.

  6. Volpe did crap 💩 again What a waste of a player and yeah, he should’ve made that play. He’s supposed to be so great right his professional shortstop right that’s in Lindo’s back pocket door makes that look easy.

  7. NO TRADE will fix the team; the problem is structural. When a paradigm does not accept more patches, like this one, it is time to change the paradigm. This has worked for centuries, Science, Arts and more and applies perfectly to sports. The problem here is functional illiteracy in human race and $$$$$$$$.

  8. Let's see, the manager and players will be talking about putting some hits together to get some runs up on the board, that they need to get it done, it's as simple as that. Boone will refer to players who are playing badly by their nicknames and surmise that they gotta break out which he know they will because they had some good swings iut there today (Boone must have pictures of Cashman in bed with a dead hooker by the way). Then the Yankees will put out a collection of .220-.240 hitters as if they were a real offense and wait for them to get it done. Wells (.214), LeMahieu (.239), Volpe (.229), Stanton (.243 + zero homers), et al. What reason does any Yankee fan have to believe that this is a capable, disciplined ballclub?

  9. Boone: "We've stung a lot of balls with runners in scoring position." Yes, but your not bees, you're baseball players. Stinging balls is not a synonym for getting hits!

  10. I’ll say this for the 1000th time. They can’t freaking hit when people are on the bags because they ALL swings as hard as they can!!! Like it’s a Sunday league softball game and want to be heroes. Pathetic

  11. Keep in mind the bullpen hasn't been completely blown out by Boone's asinine game management — yet. Usually that happens in August or thereabouts. Might happen even sooner this year. They're starting to run on fumes back there and it's not even the all star break. Leiter is falling apart. Weaver probably already has reinjured himself and isn't saying anything about it. Bodes ill.

  12. Boone please resign 😮😢and take Cashman with you. And, then Steinbrenner sale the team to someone like your Dad who cared and wasn't afraid to kick asses

  13. I dont know if you know Dan Rourke (Yankees Avenue channel)

You two are my favorite yankee fans (outside of myself).

JC ESCARRA PUTS HIS FAT FUCKIN MITT 😂😂😂

Isnt rice a catcher??? Didn't we need a spot to place him when stanton came back??? Dont we need more pitchers??? Dont get me wrong its cute that JC has a 4.9* Uber rating but is that going to help us win a world fucking series?? HELLOOOO?

  14. I appreciate the effort but your cuts just have too much happening too quickly. It is not aesthetically pleasing on the eyes to follow. Again, I appreciate the time you put in.

  15. Boone might be the worst in-game manager in baseball. He's never out maneuvered an opposing manager, but even bad teams seem to occasionally get the better of him. Some of his moves or non moves make no sense. He's a 3rd generation major leaguer, so you'd think he'd know how to play the game. I wonder if he's just not a smart person.
