Not a good look for Varly
Big Save Dave!!! He’s a warrior and solid backup. Sorokin, Rittich, Hogberg, and I guess we wait to see on Varly. Either way this gives Bridgeport some much needed help
With Ritchie and Rittich, even if we suck we’ll have an embarrassment of Riches.
i would assume this means Varlamov will not be ready by October
Very out of left field signing, especially after Rosner’s comment that Varly was doing fine so it doesn’t really make sense for us to go in on Rittich. Wonder what this could.
Had a really good 23-24, and a really bad 24-25.
Varly gotta be hurt

It’s probably league minimum deal. He’ll back up while Varly finishes rehabbing and then get sent to the minors.
The Islanders saw how good Detroit did loading up on backup goalies and said “let’s try that”
We have Sorokin, Högberg, and Rittich. I guess that means Varly is the odd man out?
But will he be “Big Save” Dave or “Occasional Save” Dave?
