Detroit Pistons Trading For Malik Monk??

yo what’s going on guys this Houston Sports Talk back into another video today and today we’re going to be talking about the Detroit Pistons potentially trading for Malik Monk today was reported by Jake Fischer that the Detroit Pistons might be interested in trading for Malik Monk and that is the way that is the route they might go to uh we it seeming like Malik Beasley is not going to be returning neither Tim Hardway Jr they look they had these two two guards last year and Tim Hardway Jr from Malik Beasley who came into the came on to the team and and absolutely were just lights out shooting and scoring were great they played a huge role into the Pistons turning their their season around last year and you know now it seems like Beasley’s gone with with what you know you know with what happened what’s going on right now with his gambling the gambling thing and then it seems like Tim Hardaway Jr.’s also gone um that being said with those two guys being gone they did pick up Caris Levert so if if you know potentially the Pistons were looking to add in a second two guard um you know I I think that that that would be great or maybe they could be looking at Malik Monk as a backup point guard option after losing Dennis Shruder um he’s played shooting guard most of his career but he can play the point that’s I think he if they bring him in most likely he’ll play the shooting guard though um but the thing that I think is interesting is that you know this would be reported by Jake Fischer that the signin trade this would be a signin trade Dennis Shruder would be a part him him signing with the Kings we we know Shruers I think the interesting thing was we know Shruder signed with the Kings but we don’t know the details of that deal and that’s a little suspicious we don’t know most of the signings you’ve seen so far almost all the signings you’ve seen so far in freez or whoever is reporting on that say “Okay this is how many years he’s signing for and this is the money detail.” You didn’t see that with Dennis Rutder and so that being delayed makes me think this can all be a part of a signin trade where Dennis and that’s what that’s what Jake Fischer is saying um is that could be a signin trade with being in you know Dennis Malik Monk being involved and Malik Monk who averaged 17 points per game last season was second place in six man of the year voting the 2023 24 season didn’t get that this year cuz he started in 45 of his 65 games played averaged six assists per game could headed to the Detroit Pistons and that would be a great addition for them he’s a solid three-point shooter his career 35% um and we get into what that deal would look like i think you know it would be you know I think it’d be Dennis Rutder of of you know his his part going into the sign and trade i think Detroit would look to move Simone Feekio in this deal um as it’s been reported they’re looking to trade him he played 75 games last year averaging 17 minutes per game six points per game uh he’s a good three-point shooter as well shot 34% this year but 40% the year before that and 33% his rookie year he’s a career three-point shooter 36% in his three seasons um I another thing is the Lakers just signed Jake Larivia Lar Levia uh to a two-year $12 million deal he’s a guy the Kings traded for he’s a guy the Kings are potentially looking to bring back and he’s a kind of tall small forward power forward type of guy who can shoot the ball just like Simone Fonteio i think Simone Fonteio could be a replacement uh to Jake you know to Jake Larivia um and so I think it’d be the Dennis Shruder part i think the signing trade would be Malik Monk to the Pistons Shruder going to the Kings in the signing trade with Simone Fonteio and I think either a first round pick with those two guys or maybe like a handful of seconds like two or three seconds i think most likely a first round pick Dennis Rutder and Simone would be the package for Malik Monk in my opinion but let me know your thoughts on the potential trade for or potential signing trade for the Detroit Pistons it’s a video hope you guys enjoyed and peace out
