Ben McLemore was found degree of first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and one count of second-degree sexual abuse. The assault took place at the home of then-teammate Robert Covington. The woman testified that she was incapacitated after a night of drinking and unable to consent.

  29. Ooooooo, Ben, you in trouble. Rape 1 and SexPen 1 are Measure 11 offenses under Oregon law. Both carry a mandatory minimum of 8 years 4 months. Sex Abuse 2 is a C Felony with a max of 5 years. And given that he hasn’t shown remorse or looked for a plea, he’s gonna face some serious prison time.

  35. According to the article she was passed out drunk, theres photo evidence of her with her head in the toilet. And he basically assaulted her while she was coming in and out of consciousness, never said a word, then cleaned her up and snuck out. He originally lied to the cops and said he never touched her until he found out she did a DNA kit and changed his story. Seems open and shut. Good riddance
