Twins vs. Marlins Game Highlights (7/3/25) | MLB Highlights

Today, the twins look to do something they have not done in about a month that is win a series rubber game coming up. Twins and the Marlins one last time and on the mound for the Marlins, a young tall hard throwing right. Yuri Perez. Recently back from tommy John surgery. Yeah, the twins offense will be facing Yuri Perez making his fifth start of the season 6.19. Er, a, the number to look out for his 10 walks in 16 innings pitch has not gotten into the fifth inning all season long. Don’t let that fool. You has a really good arm facing the twins for the first time in his career as Buxton swings and misses at a fastball elevated 98 1 away in the first strikeout of the day for Yuri nick swinging away, he pops one sky high into straight away left field. Kyle Stour is coming on, he makes the catch and there are two 99 down and away and there’s ball four. So Castro draws a two out walk and the numbers you referenced that’s now 11 walks for Perez in 16 and two thirds innings so far. This season runner goes big jump throw for hicks. No chance. But Castro, he stole that with ease. He was off and running. He was really good. I love the aggressiveness to start the game. I love him setting the tone. He’s done that all series for the Twins and the 12 is Swan on a Miss strike three. Got him with a 99 mile an hour fastball and a scoreless first for you, David Festa will be trying to get a series victory for the Minnesota Twins two and two record 5.40. Er A making his eighth start of the season five days ago in Detroit had the best start of his year dumps one into left field and a leadoff man aboard for the Marlins here at the bottom of the 1st 3rd hit of the series for X Sanchez. A AA triple five game hitting streak against the Twins back to right field for the third straight game. 3 to 1 runner goes line drive into center field that’s down for a base hit. Edwards will go to third. Sanchez will stop at first and the Marlins are certainly in business here in the bottom half of the inning. Otto hitting three with runners in scoring position, he bounces one softly out to short the turn at second. Not in time at first. An RB I run scoring fielder’s choice for Otto Lopez his 41st run of the season and it’s one. Miami Marlins in the bottom of the first runner at first one away. Fly ball in the air. August Ramirez unloads all systems. Go for, for Augustine ramirez. You snap it. Zero for seven. Wanted to make sure he could show the twins what he’s made of before they leave town here today. Brings up matt. W lot of pop in that left hand at bat but hit just a buck 97 blows him away with a fastball. That’s his third strikeout all swinging here today, hit high in the air shallow left center field, ST Hill and Lopez converging Kyle calls for it and makes the catch. That was a slider that Lewis got underneath a pop out to left a 123 innings for Perez in the top of the third inning. It’s 30 fish Spader swings and misses 98 up top the heater. He’s right back to it and that’s Yi’s fourth punch outs one away in the third and that one is cut on and missed. Here it is. Try and get it. You won another punch out for Yi on the fastball that one at 99 and there are two men gone. That one flicks over to short. No problem for Otto Lopez 99 on Buxton’s hands and he sends a lazy pop up over to short to end the inning 123 for Yuri. He set down the last seven that he’s seen. Xavier Edwards is two for two. He’s aboard to open the bottom of the third. Here’s Jesus sanchez, he singled in the first on the move that would a called strike throw to second base off line and Edwards has stolen base. We’ve been begging for more of that and we get number 15 on the year here that is up the middle into center field and a base hit for Jesus sanchez. Edwards will round third. He’ll score without a throw and the Marlins have a 40 lead. Love to come back today on this quick turnaround. Some good at bats. The big home run in the first inning certainly helped two balls. Absolutely stung one by X and that one by Perez back out there for a clean fifth inning to pitch is popped up sky high on the infield right behind the pitchers mound. Xavier Edwards on the edge of the infield grass is calling for it. That’s O Lopez. He makes the catch the shortstop and there’s one away that one again popped up right side of the infield Wagman calling for it. You getting out of the way w in on the baseline makes the catch about 10 ft in front of first base and two pop ups with a broken bat that’s a little pop up left side of the infield. Norby evaded the barrel got out of the way and Then caught the lazy pop up to end the inning, three pop ups and Yuri is on Cruz control the sixth inning four, Marlins and Yuri Perez is mentioned on Cruz control set four straight pop ups on the infield as the 11 roll to third base Norby to his left, picks it up on an easy hop and throws it away. He picked it up and just casually flipped it. You’ve got one of the slowest twins running in Vasquez. He was hustling all the way at Norby dropped his arm slot and just airmail that ball. Well, that just means that you, he’s got to get himself a ground ball here. Ok. Stand by throw down to second one. No throw to first. There’s one away with the speed of your Byron Buxton is aboard at first. There’s called strike three. He caught him looking at a fastball that was below the zone. Now, a season high seven strikeouts for Yuri Perez. So many, so many weapons to go to. We’ve seen him get strikeouts with the curve with the slider. That time, he just paints his fastball. Might have got a little call borderline low, but just a good pitch. He’s looking to get through six for the first time since August of 2023. He is hit in the air out to left center field, Derek Hill on the move sprinting into left center , he glides to the ball and makes the catch on the warning track. Yuri Perez through six scoreless and has allowed just one hits. So Matt Walder will still bat for himself here. Lefty on left Walner zero for two today over his last night and Walder blasts one to center field Hill will go back. He will turn and that is way out of here. Matt Walder, the twins on the board, but they sold the home run here in the seventh and the twins are within three. It’s a 4 to 1 game here in Miami. Yes, sir. Really good swing from Matt Walner second homer off a lefty this season Walner. Now eight total so Bader is on Lewis to second base and the twins have the tying run at the plate. Now, we can see if ryan Jeffers can get a big hit right here in this, in this crucial situation in the game, first threat that the twins have had pretty much all game next pitch chopper to the forehead of the third baseman Norby. He’s got it again. He throws to first that is on target and that ends the inning bender strands two. It’s time to stretch at Home Depot Park. Ronnie Enriquez has struck out at least one hitter in 26 consecutive relief appearances. It is the longest streak in club history. That one is another punch out change up and make it 27 straight appearances with a strike out for Ronnie. There is one away in the top of the ninth, incredible little guy with a big arm Marlins on the verge of their fourth consecutive series victory, bounding ball to third nor he’s got it off to his left side to away wins down to their final out here in the ninth on the ground out to second Edwards ball game over Marlins take this baby today by a final score of 4 to 1 and they win it by going wire to wire. And the Marlins have their fourth consecutive series victory and a nice start to the home stand.

  1. I don't trust none of these games anymore. As long as betting is legal in sports, you know that these games are fixed. Not just the MLB but NFL and NBA too

  2. Serious question that I don't know : If someone hit soft and break the bat like Bader did, but the broken bat goes to the same direction of the ball, making the defender have to avoid it and not being able to catch the ball due to the flying bat, how does the rule interprets that ?
