I was at a concert last night at UBS and hanging out at Heineken Terrace pre show and saw this tunnel system for cars but also maybe a pedestrian walkway going under the race track up to the emerald lot.
This could just be for internal teams and such but thought I’d post it here and see if anyone heard about this? I haven’t seen anything but a direct walkway from there would cut that walk time down considerably. Also offer some more weather protection.

It’s for people to get onto the infield for races. They’re making Belmont like pimlico where you can hang on the infield to watch races. No idea about connecting the parking lot
I had heard they were connecting it to the lot but haven’t seen anything official.
On the original blueprints for the site the tunnel was supposed to connect to the emerald lot
