Gonna miss Kevon Olajuwon. I'm glad we never traded him and he left on his own accord.

Still the best.
Heartfelt and emotional, that was a really good read.
Loondog cannot be replaced.
š MVP ! We love you, Loongod, no matter where you go. Come home to us when you retire and become a Bay Area staple.
Didnāt feel too much about him leaving us until I read this and remembered when he destroyed capela in 2019 against Houston, guards not being able to beat him off the dribble when they got the switch onto him, him being able to free up Steph, grabbing clutch rebounds, his fire tunnel fits, and so much more. A huge part of the franchise
forever warrior
Hard to see Loon go. Heās such a class act.
Looneyās an all time great in my book.
Looney signing here in the summer of 2027 is gonna hit like crack, just in time for him to unveil the statue
Am teary-eyed. Thank you, Kevon.
I’m still sad tho
This letter legitimately broke me. It’s like I can hear about the oracle times from Steph or Klay or Draymond, but to hear it from Loon hits different. It’s like the perspective from the ground level but of someone who also carried us. Loon one of the boys for sure. Crazy that he remembers our chants too. MVP Loondog

I was not ready for that. I hope heās showered with MVP chantsā¦
Most underrated member of the dynasty. Have fun on Bourbon Street, Loongod.
Love you forever LoonGodā¤ļø
God damned they didn’t even make him an offer?
Good Luck Loon, you will always be a warrior.
Will miss him. Such a heartfelt message! True warrior!
Retire this man’s number when the Pelicans come out next season.
LOOOOOOOOOON!

for us old and almost old heads that oracle section got my blood hot. I wanna go yell at some rockets fans now. thank you forever Loon.

Honestly he got paid! Iām happy for him! Heās still vet serviceable. We had a good time with him. Wish him the best
So impressive how he changed his game and became a totally different style of NBA player to overcome his injuries. What a guy.
Beautifully written, I can feel his heart. We love you forever Looooon!!!
Has Kerr been seen in public since Loonās departure was announced? I think he loved Loon more than anyone else. Bro must be hurtin.
My favorite warriorsā¦. 1a) Curry 1b) Loon
Iām a little surprised we didnāt give any offer to Looney.
Like he said, itās a business. But, thatās surprising to me. I felt like we would give Udonis Haslem type contracts until Looney retires.

> In looking back on everything on my way out, I think the thing Iām most proud of when it comes to my time with the Warriors is the fact that I earned everything that came to me as a player.
No one gave me anything. I worked for everything. I earned my stripes.
The man spoke with such humility. True Warrior and leader. Sad to see the end of an era.
I havenāt even read the article, but seeing āKevin Looney – New Orleans Pelicansā was a kinda sad moment
