What is going on everybody? Welcome back to Attack on Cowboys. And today we are following up on the Cavante Turpin news that we broke yesterday morning. And everyone has been having crazy ass conversations. I ain’t going to lie to y’all, man. I had to put the shy on because we about to have a Y-N conversation up in this mug. And and and who better to bring than a fellow Y into this party than my guy Terren Parson. I should have put the sh You should have put the size on, [Music] man. Shut your up. My guy Terrace Parsons Jr. is here to have a Y-N conversation about our guy YN Turpin as he got some Y-N charges and people think that he should get a Y-N suspension for those TP what’s happening man I know you ain’t want to report on it cuz you ain’t want to be the police I told people bro people didn’t believe me bro when I found out about this yesterday and you found out about the same time I did apparently when I found out about this yesterday bro I I I talked to our guy bro I was like hey man bro I I don’t even know if I want to make no content on this because I don’t I I just didn’t want it to come off the wrong way, bro. Like I didn’t want to be here dog, bro. You know it’s going to come out. It’s just like I want to be the first one to put this joint out, though. Yeah. You know what I’m saying? Cuz you look at you different like you a snitch. Like you a snitch. But here’s the thing, man. To be a snitch, you got to be in the streets. I ain’t in the streets. I’m a civilian. So don’t don’t come to me with that, bro. I I been in that life. I understand what those definitions are. You can’t be no snitch is no regular civilian. I’ve been seeing Cowboys fans really bring up the idea that he may be suspended. I done seen people say six games for a misdemeanor, possession of marijuana under two ounces and a misdemeanor, unlawful carrying of a firearm, which we going to kind of get into how he may have gotten that particular charge in a little bit because I think people are kind of confused as to why it even escalated to him getting put in jail. Um, but I don’t think this is just a, you know, I ain’t going to lie to you, bro. I don’t think this is just no SMA type stuff. I don’t think that this is no no reason to be doing no civil rights marches or nothing like that, bro. There’s just certain areas they are stricter. They are more strict with what they allow in their jurisdiction, bro. And Allen, Texas is one of them mugs, bro. I live out here, bro. I live out here and I know what areas is going to be a little bit more crazy with the popos, bro. If you out in Arlington area, you know, Pantigeo or PO Police different. They police just different, bro. So, do you think they going to get suspended? Um, it’s a possibility. It’s a possibility only because he got in trouble and you know I mean it’s a bad look for NFL or whatever. But um well I think I think Sam Williams got like a two or three game suspension but he ended up getting hurt so like it didn’t really matter. Um I wonder if he still got a Sam got a two or three Sam got a two or three game suspension. Yeah. For the same situ for the same type situation. Yeah. Really got like a two or three game. Yeah. Bro, I did not know that. Yeah, because he ended up getting hurt. That’s why I’m like I don’t know if he still got to serve it or not because he was you know what I mean? I don’t know if I don’t know if it’s practice time count or whatever the case may be, but I don’t know if he’s still going to serve that or not. Dang. Post edited. I’mma put the information or the details what he’s talking about on the screen y’all. And uh that is interesting cuz that’ll be a good topic for another show if he got to still serve that. I don’t think nobody thinking about that because he was injured. He Yeah, that’s that’s he never played last season. So, yeah. Interesting. Okay. Okay. Go ahead, though. Go ahead. Go. So, uh I hope he don’t get suspended because, you know, I mean, what he got in trouble for isn’t even really anything to even be angry about or anything like that. This something people do every day. We just Come on, man. What we doing here? What we doing? Um I mean, and and not even that, bro. It’s something that not only do people do every day, marijuana is legal in a lot of states, in most states. And in Texas, it’s kind of starting to push that way a little bit. It just ain’t got there yet. You know what I’m saying? The movement is starting here in Texas now. Carrying a firearm is legal in Texas. It’s legal. It’s legal. You can do that in You don’t even have to You don’t even have to have a a license, bro. As long as you’re just a legal citizen, you know what I’m saying? You can carry a firearm. Now, the fact that he had both of them, the fact that he had both of them, that could be part of the reason why he got the unlawful carrying part and that could be part of the reason why they went ahead and booked him. But I also think that part of the reason could be, and I’m going flash that fact on that factoid on the screen as well, y’all. I think the part of the reason could be his prior charge. Now, I ain’t about to talk about none of that, but if you have a violent prior charge in Texas and it’s a class A misdemeanor or higher, you are disqualified from owning a firearm here. You can’t have one. You can’t you don’t that that law doesn’t apply to you, bro. So, I think that that could also be a reason why that he got the unlawful carrying because he’s not supposed to be carrying it by law because of his prior charges. You know what I’m saying? So, it’s a couple of different reasons why it could have happened the way it did, but the fact of the matter is he didn’t hurt nobody, right? He didn’t hurt himself. He didn’t put anyone in danger cuz he didn’t get driving while under the influence or anything, bro. Right. So, he didn’t put anyone in danger. So, it wasn’t a situation where he on the road and putting lives in No. Like, all right, man. Cut most of what y’all about to hear as it pertains to why he got pulled over. News just came in. This man was going 97 miles per hour at a 75. Bro, come on, T. You got to do better, bro. This was just bad decision making. We got to keep it above. Bad decision making, bro. But it’s still it’s still no foul, no harm. 5 4:00 a.m. in the morning going 97 mile hour is crazy. Crazy. But no foul, no harm. Now, I ain’t going to lie, this does kind of change whether or not I think Goodell going to discipline him or not. I ain’t going to lie to you. But either way, let’s get back to the Let’s get back to the show. That show was recorded before the 97 mph thing came out. The police and Allan probably seen a very nice car riding around the roads at 500 a.m. in the morning. Bro, both five of the morning. Pulled him over like, “hm, this is suspicious.” Probably smelt a little something or seen a doobie in the ashtray or something like that. And then that gave him calls for search. And that’s all it take. That’s all it take. So, I don’t think that this is a suspension thing because to me, you suspend guys when they’re when when you’re trying to discipline them for for behavior that’s detrimental to the league, right? He didn’t do anything that’s technically illegal. He he wasn’t doing anything technically illegal. Even in Texas now, you get caught on two ounces of weed, most of the time that might be a citation. Maybe Yeah, maybe they might. They And most time they’ll tell you just throw that [ __ ] out and stomp it out. Yeah, about to say like both of those things that he got booked for in their own separate right is a fine, maybe a little bit of probation like six months to a year. Like these aren’t serious sharks. I don’t think I think suspension is crazy. I think people are using the whole, oh, Roger Goodell has an axe to grind with the Cowboys. Uh, look what he did to Zeke. Man, there was a lot of stuff going on with Zeke’s situation was completely different from Turpin situation cuz Zeke’s situation involved. the NFL got more lenient since that and and I feel that way too. I will say that I do feel that way too because we’ve seen certain things take place. The Rashi Rice and we’ve seen certain things take place that the NFL hasn’t really thrown the hammer at guys on. Hell, even Justin Tucker, he just got caught jacking off on how many massuses and he only got what, six games or something like that? 10. They did Deshun Watson way worse than that. And they did they did Deshun Watson way worse than that. So it’s like, can you come down on turpin without looking crazy? You know what I’m saying? Then there’s Jimmy Ward in Houston and his situation and there’s really not that much attention going on on his situation, but we already know he in serious trouble. And he in serious trouble. You know what I’m saying? Like jail time. Jail time trouble. You know what I’m saying? So it’s like and we ain’t the police, so I ain’t about to get into all of that. But it and we don’t care about Texans either. But at the end of the day, we understand he’s a Cowboy. So, yes, the little situations is is going to get some attention. Yes, I was going to cover it, y’all, cuz this is a Cowboys news channel, bro. Cowboys news channel, bro. And it’s not my fault if a Cowboy just happened to make some not so positive news, bro. I still got to cover. That’s my responsibility to my audience, but I also have a responsibility not to drag these dudes through the mud, which I feel like I didn’t do that to Turpin yesterday. Like, I was very respectful of him. And we still support our guy because at the end of the day, he ain’t do nothing that none of us don’t do every day. So it’s like whatever. Whatever. You know what I mean? You live and you learn. This is a fine at most. This is a fine at most, bro. A fine. There’s no way I see him get suspended from this, bro. And if he does get suspended, ah, that hurts. And that that hurts. I think at most you see maybe a one or two game suspension if it does escalate to that and maybe the suspension comes just based off of he has a prior history. The NFL doesn’t even test for weed no more. That’s what I’m saying. So it’s like can the NFL even really get into this? Can they really even get into this? Cuz they don’t test they don’t really care about the weed thing anymore. I think unless it’s like a certain amount in your bloodstream I think is when they flag you. Uh so so you can’t be a roster. You can’t be out here Bob Marley. But I think they don’t care about the weed thing as much anymore. lighting up on that a lot. And the firearm thing, bro, I mean, it’s legal to carry firearm in Texas. It’s just he got caught up in a certain circumstance. We don’t know the details of the situation, how much weed he actually had, if he had a whole baggie or if it was just a doobie. You know what I’m saying? We have no clue. So, I I don’t think that suspension is warranted either way. I don’t care how much weed was in there. A suspension ain’t warranted either way. Cuz I’m going to tell you something, bro. These damn NFL players deserve to smoke whatever the hell they want, bro. I had a tailbone injury for the last week, bro. And I say I was joking on my last video, bro. That [ __ ] had me ready to do a line of cocaine. Okay? So, if they need a little bit of weed to feel better and help their bodies recover and not to feel some of the pain they feel, man, let these dudes smoke weed, bro. Don’t be demonizing these dudes, man. And Cowboy fans, y’all out of line. I see some of y’all. Oh, he’s so stupid. Oh, that’s so ignorant. The only thing that was the only thing that I would say about this is, bro, when you making a certain amount of money, I know Turpin ain’t been making as much money as some of the other guys on the team. Dak, I know he ain’t been making as much money as some of the other guys on the team, right? But bro, you making enough to where you can pay one of your family members or one of your closest confidants, a homeboy to be your driver for a night if you know you going to be out late, you know? So you going to be in a compromising situation if you coming from somewhere where you might been smoking, you getting litter or something, bro. Pay one of your family members or somebody you cool with to drive you around for that night and make sure you get home safe. The NFL got a hotline you can literally call. They’ve been having that hotline for years and years and years and decades now. You can call and get a driver to come pick you up, bro, and take your ass back home so you ain’t got to drive around intoxicated or nothing like that. And and he wasn’t. We’re not going to put that on his on his shoulder. He was not because he ain’t get cited for none of that. He ain’t get cited for none of that. None of that. So that’s the other weird part about it is like, damn, dude. How you even get to the point where you get searched and seized and all this stuff when you ain’t even get cited for driving under the influence. And so this was just a regular traffic stop. This was just I see a fancy car, I’mma pull you over and then it escalated to somebody dude got booked. Something was in plain view. That’s all it was. Something had to be in plain view. And in that case, that’s why you have a driver. So your driver spend a night. Actually, I think if you I think if you I think if you did like uh look at the docker [ __ ] or whatever, I think it said when when it said for warrant because they didn’t need one, it said plain view or something was in plain view for sure. Interesting. Interesting. Interesting. But yeah, man. So, I don’t think he deserves a suspension. I don’t think he will get one. That’s my prediction. I don’t think he gets one. I think at most he may get a fine from the team or something. Um that’s the other part I want to talk about. Do you think Shotti does anything TP? How do you think Shotty responds to this? Do you think the team responds to this at all? I mean, if if if Shotti is the type of person that I think he is, he’s gonna look at this like how we look at it because he ain’t y for real, too. Like, hey, I know what’s up, bro. So, you know what I mean? Obviously, you know what I mean? There might be some type of, you know, I mean, some type of discipline, but I don’t think it’s going to be any type of suspension or any type of crazy fun. I mean, maybe some extra running at practice, some extra conditions or something, but like I don’t see anything crazy. I and I I could honestly see them doing something for window dressing. I could see them talking to Turp and be like, “Look, we gonna we gonna put out this press release that we gonna, you know, do an undisclosed fine, you know, within the team and we ain’t going to disclose or whatever, but we ain’t really going to do nothing to you, bro. Like, you good.” I I could see them doing some window dressing, bro. Because I just don’t know if this ain’t nothing for Shotty to make a point on, y’all. Like, this this ain’t one of those situations I don’t think for Shotti to make a point on cuz again, he didn’t endanger anyone. He didn’t hurt anybody. He didn’t hurt himself. It was literally just a traffic stop going as bad as possibly could gone. It’s like that’s what happened, y’all. So, h I don’t I don’t think anything’s wrong with that at all. I don’t think Shotti should do any disciplining or anything else like that. I think everything as it pertains to Cavante Turpin is just a nice news story for ESPN and TMZ and other places to kind of get some clicks and engagement off of for the time being and that’s about it.
