Toronto Blue Jays vs Chicago White Sox – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | July 7, 2025 MLB Season

out total tonight. All right, Steve, what do we think? A little low one. Over under at three and a half. Well, usually it invites an over at this, but the Blue Jays make a lot of contact, so I’ll take the over anyway. Popped up. Stays in the infield. There’s my drop calling for it. Makes the grab for the first out of the game. Same road trip. 3-1. And Burke his first walk of the ball game. It’s kind of surprised how difficult it was to dig it out actually. In the air to left center field, Baldwin going back at the warning track and he makes the grab in front of the Winrust side. There you look at the numbers against the socks and he’s been outstanding. The sinker catches the corner. A called strike three. Andrew Beniti trying to attack that first pitch. And Wagner just enough room to make the play on the ground. And it’s my job. B covering and he gets there in time. [Applause] [Music] Time now for tonight’s All State Good Hands replay. And there was no doubt about that. Oh, look what Rojos got out of the air. Everyone making nice plays on the infield. Out number two. This is a rocket. And Josh goes up and makes the play. This is ticketed for two bases down the line. And it’s Vargas this time. Three dandies on the infield. A 10 pitch inning for Shawn Burke. Two left-handed bats. And then you run the risk if one of them is a DH of losing your designated hitter. So that becomes a challenge as he gets hit and Kyle’s aboard. Runner on it first with two outs here in the second inning. And Montgomery will work himself a two out walk. One-1 to Baldwin. Hits this one hard and off the glove of Guerrero Jr. racing home is Teal. He’s going to score as Montgomery gets to third. The Whites make the play. He’s not a great defender at first. He is above average, however. And that time with the over spin on the ball, it just ate him up. Good heads up base running by Kyle Teal, he was able to score. And as you can see, it bounded away just far enough with Scott Barry saying it’s a fair ball all the way. That was CB first inning brought back into the game in the second inning as a called strike three out number two here in this third and how he looked like a completely different pitcher from them. There he goes thrown out to second and a stolen base for Guerrero Jr. We’ll watch it again. It’s a good solid throw by Kyle. He’s going to be out if he holds on to the baseball, but Chase had the ball drop out of his glove. And that is a stolen bag. This one hit into right center field. Guerrero Jr., He will be waved in and Bette drives in another one. He will tie this game at one a piece in the fourth inning. [Applause] This is up the middle. Coulson Montgomery gloves it. The flip and my drop could not get it out for the exchange. But you see the range for Coulson Montgomery at 6’3. just got to that ball up the middle. Well, that’s an outstanding Colorado. 460 something feet. It was Oh, this one’s gone a long way. Right center field at the wall and it is out of here. It’s the Blue Jays with their first lead of the night with Lido. That’s first home run of the year. First home run of the season. Yep. only his second run driven in and it’s a four seam. Hits this one in just his second game of the year. Now this one is hit a long way to right field and the Blue Jays have gone back to back. This one from Nathan Lucas, his fifth home run of the season. [Applause] Looked like that might have been a high change or a high breaking ball. We’ll take another look at it as Lucas was able to go upstairs. He’s walked a couple of guys, but double. No, he’s going to give up a two base hit here. [Applause] Makes a quality pitch, but Bette just that much better. One of the reasons why when he does play, they like to put him in right field. Makes this one along the way. Tauman looking up and the third home run tonight for the Blue Jays. This one a two-run shot for Barger. His 12th of the season and Toronto will take a 51 lead here in the sixth inning. [Applause] Four of these five have come via the long ball, but they certainly like his steadying presence in the lineup. There’s the all-star Alejandro Kirk lining that one into right field after the Blue Jays have clubbed three home runs tonight. And there’s ball four. One ball, two strikes. Relentless. This one in the air. Ben Tendy chasing and it’s going to go off the wall. The stop sign is on for Kirk. And the bases are now loaded. Still nobody out in this sixth inning. You don’t want to get doubled up and taken out of the inning. That one bouncing over the head of Vargas. So Ler Fido, he will drive in two more. That’s a cutter to a drawn in infield, which is one of the reasons why hitters love a drawn in infield. The infield’s back. That could have been two as it was with the infield in. It is two, but it’s two runs. Top of the order. Nathan Lucas squares to bunt. Teal covering trying to get back to the play. Send the throw to first and record the out with a run coming in to score. He thinks he’s going to play at the plate. when he realizes pretty quickly that he doesn’t. He redirects and makes the throw to first base. Normally when a catcher does this, you’re not going to get the guy at first. He’s got a readymade angle on the throw and he gets him. Guys in their age 35 season or older with 15 or more home runs and 10 or more stolen bases before the break. He is on an impressive list on the side just does get him for route number two. Squiver. All the young kids are doing it. And unable to make the pick is Guerrero Jr. So Montgomery will reach with one out here in the seventh. This one slashed to left center field and it’s going to hit the gap. Sliding his low profido to cut it off from getting to the wall. But Rojos with a two out double go out of the ballpark or not. That one gets into right field. Montgomery scores. Rojos. He will be waved in. The Socks chipping away. A two RBI single from Mike Tauman. Makes it eight to three here in the seventh. and races out with his first hit tonight. A one out single here in this eighth inning. Sosa slashes this one to the gap. Vargas, he will score. Teal held at third and the socks continue to chip away. It is now an 84 ball game here in the eighth. Let’s see this two- strike approach. Woo! Oo, that one looked like it was off the edge, but it’s called strike three. [Music] Got Teal at third. Sosa is on at first. Popped up. It is Kirk getting rid of the mask. Well, the first baseman, Guerrero Jr. takes over to end the threat. And his team is pretty good this year. Tyler Alexander. It has been nine up, nine down, giving the Socks a chance to come back. It’s this one and underneath the glove of Guerrero Jr. Tooffman will get to second. A one out double in the ninth inning. Slashes to right field. And there’s his first knock. So, the Socks not done yet. The 2-2 hits this one home to left field backing up and he makes the grab at the track. A loud out to end the ball

  1. "He's not a great defender, but he is better than average." Thanks for the laugh, Sox broadcaster!!! Yeah, they hand out Gold Gloves for above average fielding. Maybe do some freakin research, bro.
