Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs Full Game Highlights – July 8, 2025 | NBA Summer League

I’m really looking for an opportunity for Carter Bryant to kind of show up in the ways that we know he can. He had a tough start to summer league. And here’s that hustle already on display. The Arizona Wildcat Carter Bryant giving it off. Jones Garcia lost it. Kick ahead in transition. It’s Dalton Connect. And that’s the energy you want. Connect four to show up with running that he is here for development. continuously growing his game, showcasing his leadership. He’s a veteran on this summer league team, and he should be able to show it. Carter Bryant splashing down the three. There is a little more to his game than just threes. Mhm. Late clock for Harrison Ingram. Little step through. Can’t get it on Swider. Mensah, the offensive rebound. Too strong. Minn kicks it out. Minn’s three to shoot forcing a really tough shot and they just beat the shot clock. Mensah on the follow allowing the Spurs to get some easy looks just by being under in the right place at the right time. Basisley head fake kick out. Connect his first made three of the California Classic. He has been around and he’s had success. Taps that to connect. Nice extra pass. Stewart runner. Yep. [Music] All the way to the rim for the two for David Jones Garcia, native of La Republica, Dominicana from Sto. Domingo. I like Dora the Explorer. No, it I I don’t have enough Dora the Explorer knowledge to test you there. Nice dunk by Osai Oipo. Bounce pass taken away. There’s Harrison Ingram into the corner for Omari Moore. Stand up. San Jose State. Lead is four for the Spurs. Serge Jabari Rice, the former Spur. Oh, but there’s Basley’s belt. See if he can get another chance in the league. Tamir Nelson Jr. pretty stepping into a three. Basisley the entire Spurs bench yelling travel but it’ll count for three. Jones Garcia getting downhill. Make that Omari more peron mo. Goodness I love the spin on that. I mean, you didn’t know what side of the court he was going to. More of the four-year Spartan with a nice finish. Cole Swider has that blocked out of play. Gordon. [Music] Swider into the paint. Fading away. Gets it to go. Perfect execution breaking up that play there. Swider got free. Offensive rebound. Swider. He’s not going to miss two in a row, is he? No, too short. Basisley now powering his way to the bucket. Count it. Give and go. Not there. Contested three. Jones Garcia rolls it in. wherever he is would be so proud of how quickly this summer league team has adhered to the principles of defense and talking and communication. Swider just got that off his tentacles all throughout his coaching staff going down that bench and the way that they’re talking to these guys. Swider rattling it down. Four of his last five shots after the 0 for four start. Riley Minnik step back 15. That was pretty smooth from Riley Min. He gets the bounce after creating a little bit of separation in the paint. Nice little fade away. Ronnie the blow by and the finish. Basket. Looking inside for Mensah. Good catch and finish. That could have been a turnover. Swider contested, drilled it first and then coming back into the league through an internship with New Balance, I believe. Yes. Um there’s a lot to be said about how different GMs look at that as how much did you learn in those situations as opposed to going through college system and and getting those principles and those fundamentals. Well, that’s Basley. What a move when you’re that young. It’s a thing. It’s a thing. RJ Davis, nice finish. He got a little bit more veteran presence in your locker room with all those young guys. I’m not mad at it. And I also do really like Malachi Brandom. I thought he played some solid minutes as my god. Oifo from that perspective. But yeah, Spurs again another team with an embarrassment of riches. Just so many athletes and now adding to their arsenal. Nice finish by Harrison Ingram. His first bucket. Shabuzo from downtown. No good. Here’s Ba Basley off the rim. Courtto baseline and one. That’s what he does. A nine-point lead here for the Spurs. swishing that one. Ethan Taylor. Here’s Rice gets stripped. Mangus high off the glass. Oh my gosh. M native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Darius Basley sets the screen for the Chicago kid. DJ Stewart on the shot fake. Oh, DJ the Chicago kid with a nice little runner in the lane. Stewart dancing with the Stewart. Little sauce on that one. Are we in the Bay or is this Ruckers? I I’m trying to That was nice. I like the move. Little shimmy with the ball. Yo-yoing. 25 ticks off the third quarter clock here. Mangus has a clean look. I’m going to go ahead and assume that the Spurs got yelled at about the Oboards because they have been all over pre- switch something. But Cam Carter, the LSU Bayou Bengal incorporating his teammates in great ways, using his dribble for good. It’s not aimless. I like it. Davis late clock air ball connect just sneaks it in there. RJ Davis going up on one side of the floor being able to see the weak side is open. Gets the ball to the corner. A lob for Mensa. Big men are running and they’re finishing above the rim. Oh, Cam Carter swiping it from Davis to Cole Swider first of the deck. It’s taken away by Mangus. Cam Carter again. They’re fine. RJ Davis gets a screen from Ree. Oh, with the dump off to his big man. That was nice. Oh my gosh. This nice block by Ree, but Cam Carter can’t leave him. Oh, the follow dunk. David Jones Garcia. Yeah, Jones Garcia just missing. Gets it back. Puts it home. Jones Garcia with 16 points. Spurs trying to join Miami as the two two in one teams. Oh, there Jones Garcia keeping the pivot foot down. What a pass out to Carter Bryant. He’s going to have to work on that. That’s something he definitely can develop. You keep seeing his shot is on target. It’s just short unlike Dalton Connect. Connecting there for his second three of the game. And then the inbounds pass. They almost had another steal off the inbounds. Did you see the starown by Carter Bryant? Oh, Dexter Dennis got hung up. Dexter Dennis was looking for someone’s life on that one to cut it to three. Dumb connect. It was while I’m checking in. Three-point game. Jones Garcia hits the three. And he says, “Calm down, Lakers bench. Calm down.” Jones Garcia with the right missing. Basley the rebound with the rare miss at the rim. Connect a three. 13 points in the fourth quarter for Dalton Connect and we got a one-point game. Why not give it to Connect and he’s been the hot hand. He check can’t get it but there’s Basley rocking the rim court. Garcia Jones Garcia with it. Fading away too strong. Tapped up and that’ll do it. The Lakers come

  1. Bronny isn’t even capable of staying consistent in the Summer League, he’ll never be NBA ready until he starts improving his game.

  2. Bro Jameer's son is already in the League?? I think I can feel my 3rd grey hair growing in my head somewhere 😭😭😭😭
