How the rest of the Atlantic division stacks up, thoughts on what the divisional standings will look like?

There’s Buffalo, the class of the Atlantic division, and then there’s everybody else.
Florida obviously isn’t going anywhere. I think the Senators will do better, and the Leafs will do worse. The real question marks are from Montreal and Detroit.
I think we’re still in the top three in the division, the problem is getting past the rats.
We should be top 3 this year imo. I expect Toronto will be as well. Florida most likely rounds out the top 3 but depends how seriously they take the regular season. Montreal is a dark horse, I think they could make a decent jump if everything clicks.
Boston the only sure fire lock to not make the playoffs imo. I kinda think Detroit lacks the talent to do it as well, but could see them being in the race if they have favorable results in close games. Buffalo has the talent on paper but is a dysfunctional mess.
I could see us or the Panthers taking the top seed followed by the other Florida team, then Toronto. I feel like the Habs will make the playoffs and the Sens will miss it just because I think there will be another Metro team in one of the wildcard spots. Possibly the Rangers or Islanders.
Someone will probably do a remind on this but only thing I can guarantee is that the Red Wings miss the playoffs again
That team is not a serious team, the Yzerplan over there is very questionable
Doesn’t matter tbh, barring something I don’t think we can or will beat Florida. Maybe try win the division, go through the metro and hope to god someone beats them or the hockey finally catches up
This may very well be our toughest division in a few years.
Strap in, y’all. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
I think we will be in the top 3 with Montreal hot on our tail. I think our experience and depth will ultimately take us above teams like Montreal, but I think they’ll (Montreal) be even better in the upcoming season.
Man, I just want hockey back
I think Buffalo, Boston, and Detroit look a little weak, but other than that it’s going to be a rough time. I don’t think Toronto has a good year, despite the defensive talent, unless they change up their system.
I’d feel a lot better if we picked up a solid RD.
I’m not worried about offense at all. Geekie will improve, Goncalves will improve, Chaffee will improve, Bjorkstrand will get more time in the system, and Holmberg will help depth.
Boston looks atrocious. It feels weird to see pasta there, and you almost have to wonder if he doesn’t get moved for a haul near the trade deadline.
Top three should be the same. I can easily see Knies stepping into Marner’s place and one of their young guys stepping up.
I think Montreal’s building a great core and they’re gonna be a problem in the future
