So, don’t forget to subscribe and turn on turn on post notifications as we’re on the road now to 3,000. We already got 2,000 because of all the love you guys have shown this channel. We’re on the road to 3,000. But there is many reasons why Bengals fans are livid a lot of the time. Um, I think Bengals fans can be like any sports teams fans can be negative a lot, but there’s a lot of times where Bengals fans are living. I think this is a perfect example of it. Um, the Bengals obviously this is not I don’t think it’s a make orb breakak season for the Bengals and I’ve talked about that already, but it is a very important season for the Cincinnati Bengals. I think this season says a lot about what the Bengals are going to have to do um moving forward through the next seasons after whether we’re on the right track or we have to do a whole turnaround, new coaches, new players, new key players, all that good stuff. I think this season is going to do a lot with that. And I think the Bengals fans um have a lot of positivity. Well, at least I do have a lot of positivity heading into this. I feel like it’s split evenly. Half the Bengals fans are extremely positive about this team and have very high hopes for this next season. While the other half the Bengals fans um are already regretting the next season that hasn’t even started. And this has just added fuel to the fire for the team, for the fans that think the Bengals are just going to be worse. Add fuel to the fire for the Bengals fans that think we’re going to be really, really good. Um, and go back to the playoffs like we should be. And I think it’s going to add fuel to the fire for the players who know we should be fighting for AC AFC Championship and playoff contention every single year. Um, and let me jump right into it. Obviously with the Bengals, I think um this picture right here is why the Bengals fans have so much hope. Um for every single season, every single game, we have hope and know that we can win because of this picture right here. The main guy, as you can see, Joe Burrow, he leads the team. And sorry for everybody that I offended last video I did where I said he was the best Bengals in history, even though I think he’s done enough to prove it. But here you go. There’s Boomer right there. All right. I respect the history of the Bengals. Okay, so you can and that was not what the video was about, but anyways, but Joe Burrow, he carries this team so much and he’s the reason and the other guys you can see in that photo um Jamar Chase, Steve Higgins, Mazei, Chase Brown, Amarice Mims, Orlando Brown, everybody else. Those are the reasons we have hope um every single week and know that the Bengals can make it to the Super Bowl at le or the playoffs at least AFC championship and contend for Super Bowl every single year. The main questions is this picture, the defense. A lot of these guys aren’t even on the defense anymore. Um, but this is the main question that all Bengals fans and NFL media have going into this next season. Um, who’s even going to be our edge rushers? We have contract situations with a lot of our edge rushers. Um, are the players that haven’t stepped up actually going to step up this year or are we going to have to do a whole revamp on the defense, especially with new defense quarter Alen? Is he going to be better than Lou and Arumo or is he going to be worse? Um, those are all the questions that are going into the season and a lot of it depends on the defense being successful and that is exactly what um, a power ranking came out and I don’t really look into power rankings that much with the NFL. But um, Bengals big changes contract drama leave a mark in power rankings. That’s a report I’m going to be reacting to today. Oh, wrong button. And here we go. Opinions vary on the Cincinnati Bengals entering training camp this summer. Some considered the Bengals much better than they showed last season. Joe Bro put on a near MVP performance only to be let down by a miserable defense and some wicked bad luck. I want to talk about this for a little bit. Yes, obviously the Bengals defense needed a massive step forward. And I think personally we didn’t take that massive like you know massive groundbreaking step but we need enough we did enough um to the point where our defense is going to be better. Um, and that defense being that much better gives us one or two more wins, which makes us into the playoffs. Think about this. The year we went to the Super Bowl, we went 10 and seven and our defense was finished total ranked like 16 or 15th. If we can just get back to being a mid defense in the NFL, we will making we will be making the Super Bowl. Um, and the Bengals bad bad luck last season was uncanny. We are the first team in history to score more than 30 points and lose like and we lost during that six times last season. Wicked bad luck. The ball bounced our way rarely never. Um flags didn’t go our way nearly never as they always do for Bengals it seems like. But obviously a lot of that was because of the poor defense defensive play um until towards the end of the season when everybody started picking up and we went on the fivegame win streak. Others looking to the future think that more struggles are on the way as a rebuilding defense and an iffy offensive line weigh things down. It’s an idea reflected in new power rankings from Bleacher Reports Gary Davenport where the Bengals rank merely 16th. And this is what he had to say why he ranked the Bengals 16th for that I think is absurd. I still don’t love Cincinnati’s decision to dump defensive coordinator Lou Anorumo for Al Golden this offseason. I don’t know why anybody would not like that move. I thought that was the perfect move for the Cincinnati Bengals to do. Um, and I don’t think the Bengals have invested nearly enough in their defense or offensive line this offseason. I see a lot of people saying we haven’t done enough. I don’t think we did as much as I expected, but I think we did just enough to get that just much better um to make a difference in getting to playoffs. I don’t think we, like I said, I don’t think we made that massive step forward. We didn’t make that groundbreaking trade or that groundbreaking signing, but we did just enough to get that much better. And all we had to do was just get that much better and we would have in the playoffs last year. All we had to do was win one more game and we were in the playoffs. We all we had to do this offseason was just get that much better. And I think that’s what we did. So I disagree with that point. And I don’t think the Bengals have all right, I already said that ongoing this ongoing contract issues involving Trey Hendrickson and rookie first round pick Shamar Stewart have me even less convinced that we’ll see a defensive turnaround in Cincy this year. Now I understand that completely. Obviously with the Bengals defense um not getting drastically overturned or new names um that it’s a huge question for the Cincinnati Bengals. I think that’s the biggest question for the Cincinnati Bengals going into the 2025 season. How are the players going to operate under this new Alen scheme? Is Alen Al Golden scheme going to work as a defensive coordinator in the NFL? It worked as a linebacker’s coach, but is his scheme going to work as a defensive coordinator in the NFL? We have we don’t know that. Does the question we’re going to find out next season? Are the players going that we have their talent and their potential and their mindset fit this game of Al Golden? All these are questions that we’re going to answer. I think a lot of the players that we’ve mentioned before like Gino Stone, his playing style, his skills, his talents match very well with the Al Golden scheme. Now, we know Logan Wilson who was brought up by Al Golden when he was the linebacker coach in Cincinnati that he fits that scheme is Demetrius Knight Jr. who is most likely going to be the starting linebacker opposite Logan Wilson. Is he going to match that scheme? And I think Al Golden drafted him second round because he knew he would. Same with Trey Hendrickson if we get him signed and Jamar Stewart if we get him signed. That’s the big questions. Are we going to sign these edge rushers? Because especially in the AFC North, you have to get after the quarterback. You got to get after Lamar Jackson, whoever the Browns play, you got to get after him. Aaron Rogers, you got to make that brother run as much as possible. Or if it’s Will Howard, you got to make that brother run. You have to get after the quarterback in any team, but especially the NFC North. And if we don’t have Trey Hendrickson or Shamar Stewart to help us do that, the defense is going to be nearly impossible to make an improvement if we don’t have those guys backing us up. Trey Hendrickson is one of the cornerstones of the defense. That first and foremost has to be figured out. He has to be extended. He has to be playing for the Bengals every single snap or every game next season. Shamar Stewart, they have to figure out that contract situation. He has to be an important role for the Cincinnati Bengals edge rush room next season. and Al Golden has to step up into the defensive coordinator um mindset right away as he did in Notre Dame. Um obviously you’re not expecting a massive 25th ranked defense all the way to 10th ranked defense, but I’m looking for maybe 18 to 15. If we finish total ranked defense, 18 to 15, um then I would be happy with that and that’s what I’m hoping for and that’s what I expect from Al Golden. Like I I love our our secondary room. I think we have a lot of talent and potential in that room. I just think we haven’t had the right puzzles um or pieces of the puzzle um to make it mesh, if that makes sense. And I think we’re closest to that than ever with the coordinators, the coaches, position coaches, and the players that we have that are going to start hopefully fully healthy. But let me show you the craziness. So, this is the power rankings from 1 to 16, which include the Bengals. This is why I’m like to me I’m a very positive Bengals fan but I think this is kind of crazy some of the teams they have above us but you know go win the Super Bowl prove them all wrong. Eagles number one obviously Chiefs one or two makes sense. Bills three makes sense. Ravens makes sense at four. Lines five. Yes sure commanders six to me. I mean the commanders showed out last season and I think they got better this off seasonason but we only had one year to really watch Jayden Daniels. I don’t think he’s going to take a soft force slump or anything, but that’s a question that we’ll have to look for with the commanders, but I think they’re going to be one of the top contenders. Buccaneers, adds a little bit crazy. Rams, are you sure? Packers, are you sure? They don’t got really a wide receiver one. Um, obviously Matthew Golden, but we don’t know who he’s going to turn into. Chargers, okay, sure. Uh, Texans, are you sure? Broncos, we already beat the Broncos. Steelers, they put a retirement home in front of the Bengals. Steelers are literally overtime at home of the NFL right now and they put them above the Steelers or Bengals. Vikings starting first year quarterback. Um McCarthy, why did I blank? He beat the Ohio State Buckeyes freaking three years. I don’t know why I blank. Um 49ers, they had a terrible season just like the Bengals and then the Bengals 16. I would put the Bengals top 10, but it’s crazy that the fact our defense is so bad that he ranked a team with Joe Burrow, the number one quarterback in the league, and Jamar Chase, the number one wide receiver in the league at number 16. That’s something that needs to be improved. Bengals next season, use this as fuel to the fire. Fans, use this as fuel to the fire. Go win the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. Make it to the playoffs, please. Win the AFC Championship and win your final goal of winning the Super Bowl. bring Joe Burrow MVP. If we do all of that, Joe Burrow wins AVP, we make the playoffs, we win the AC championship, and then we win bring the first Lombardi trophy to Cincinnati, win the winning winning the Super Bowl, we can shut up all the haters and then solidify oursel as one of the top teams in the league every single year for the next decade because that’s what we should be with the talent that we have. But this was a little bit of a longer video. Sorry, I like to yap. But thank you so much for watching this episode of Bingles Die. Don’t forget to subscribe. Like I said, we’re on the road to 3,000.
