Boy, he timed that up perfectly going into the slide. Hot shot. Nice diving stop by Batty and he makes the play for the second out of the inning. Nice job by Brett Batty at second. Nice movement to his left. scrambled up and makes the throw for a double play, but the bunt’s going to be dropped down. Here comes the run. Throw to the plate. The tag on and home. Got him. Walls cut down. Toro came in and made a terrific play. And Aayaz with the tag. Can Cammy get there on the dive? He does. And the side retired and the Rays are staying right in this thing. Wow. Thanks to their defense and the pitching of Shane Boss, the league stolen base leader playing right field today. A new position just stole a run away from the Red Sox. Line drive. Diving play by Story as he lays out. He steals a hit. The defense in this game, both sides, has been fabulous. First pitch swinging deep left center. Jacob Young back and he’s got it. Probably a step in front of the wall and he elevated just enough to do it. Garcia scorches one to right center field. And what a grab by Tyrone Taylor. The athleticism covering the ground and a sliding grab for route number one. Two and two is popped up back of shortstop. It’ll be into center field and a breakneck run in by Trel to skid into the catch. Oh, what a grab for out number two. He reaches out and rolls it to short. Backhanded by Bogarts. Tough play in time. Xander Bogarts makes a strong play on the move to retire Castillianos to begin the fourth. Watch how quick he gets rid of it though. Throws off the wrong foot. Sharply hit. Horowitz to the plate. A high throw, but Bart goes up to get it. And the hesitation by Jeffers. And it looked like Jeffers maybe tried to pull his foot back. Let’s take a look here. Yeah, he tries to pull his foot back away from the glove and then get it back down to the plate. And Joey Bart does a great job. This is lined into right field down for a base hit in front of Kyle Sters. Henderson going to try to score. Boom. Coming in get towards the plate. He got him. Welcome home Kyle Sters. He guns down his buddy Henderson at the plate to end the first. He just throws his bat at this and dumps it into right field. Garcia on a dive. Break dancing into the out. He gets booed at the plate here in Houston and he’s not going to hear any cheers on this one. Bouncing ball charging in. Machado cuts off Bogart. Has to hurry. Got him in time. And this game is still tied. There’s that great arm, Adam. Manny Machado has made some key defensive plays today. This was close at first, but got Sosa in time. On the ground over the mound. Good range from Jimenez. Throws back to first and it’s dug out by Vlatty. Really nice play by Jimenez and Guerrero for the first down. Hits a fly ball deep to right. It’s carrying on Corbin Carroll all the way to the wall and he’s got it. Corbin Carroll keeps it in the yard. Scoops it out deep to left center. Goreel in pursuit. Lurtis has got it. Goreel reaches out and takes extra bases away from Mike Trout in the deepest part of left center field. And Heidman holds on for the out. Oh my, what a play by Heidman who just got a tiny piece of the foul tip to keep it in the air and then on the tip drill made a dive to his right for the catch. Pitch swing a bouncing ball. Short stop hole. Whit Jr. to his right. Fields on the backhand jump throw to first. Got him. Goodness gracious. What a play by Bobby Wit Jr. thought he would never even get to that ball, let alone throw out Brett Bainy, but he did both. And there’s two away. [Applause]
