The San Jose Sharks invest in their future, selecting top goaltending prospect Joshua Ravensbergen
and san jose has taken joshua ravensburgen with the 30th overall pick in the draft and uh jd how surprised were you that a goalie goes at this spot uh i was a little surprised especially when you consider the sharks just gave up a first round pick to try to trade for yarov ascro last off season uh but uh with goalies and their development path it kind of does make sense for the sharks to continue to add a goalie i’m a big fan of just draft a goalie every year in the draft because you never know when one hits and the sharks got arguably the best goalie in this year’s draft at least he was kind of consider that heading into the draft uh he’s a big six foot five kid uh right-handed catcher which is also uh ascrov so you get the nice uh the sharks cornering the market on right-handed catching goalies here apparently but uh i i think for san jose is you i i thought they might go defense here but i i assume they feel like they can grab a defenseman beginning of the second round with the uh 33rd pick uh in the tomorrow morning so uh a little surprised but it once you think about it for a second it makes a lot of sense for my career

Great pick ❤❤❤
I dont hate this pick. It instills some healthy competition with Aski and it basically guarantees you will have at least 1 strong starter in the future. But Im pretty annoyed they didn’t take any right shot defensemen with the 33rd.
