How excited are you for the Chaim Bloom Era to begin soon?

  1. This is why I pretty much wrote off the season from the get-go. With Mo on the way out and Bloom getting settled in, there’s little point for expectations this season.

For now, just try to watch for the love of the game; we can have higher expectation starting next season when Bloom is fully at the helm.

  2. In a wait and see mode. Not worth getting too excited until we see how he actually operates. I assume he can’t be any worse than Mo.

  3. Not particularly excited for the Chaim Bloom era. He will be working for the same owner. Most likely the same result.

  4. Very. But I don’t know if it’s because I’m excited for his approach, or if it’s just because he’s not Mo.

  5. I’m excited, he’s done good work on revamping the minors, and improving development (particularly the step between AAA and the majors). Boston’s farm system and now majors are seeing the fruits of his tenure right now. I am interested in what he’s gonna do with the major league staff and roster, which both need some work

  6. It should start this week. Might as well have him in charge of the deadline instead of Mo who will likely f-things up even further.

  7. Im excited to see how similarly he’s going to run the team compared to how he in the past since we can only really speculate which shots DeWitts or Mo are actually calling to a degree.

I think Boston pulled the leash on him way too soon, and I’ll be surprised if he’s allowed to run the team like he did in Tampa (consistently trading away assets for young, cheap talent). It’ll be something if he (is able) to sort of blow this roster up to set a new path for himself

  8. I think Bloom had a significant role in getting the young stud prospects in the Red Sox system. I am really hoping that he can build a prospect pool like that here. The team needs to be infused with young exciting talent that produces a true superstar. I think that makes me excited but takes time and not a guarantee by any means.

  9. He’s got a lot of work to do but don’t think much will change. MO 2.0, another puppet for the owners.

  10. We could have been competitive this year. Yet Mo still has Mikolas balls gargling in his throat. Mo can’t be gone fast enough. Please save us Chaim.

  11. Very. Mainly just to try something different. For years it has felt to me like Mo has been quiet quitting. I’m hoping a new mind can turn the team around. Just gotta hope ownership doesn’t hold Bloom back.

  12. Very…

Seeing certain Guys add cutters already… the nost notable one is Ixan. He looks fukn awesome

And now add in probably Willits today, Rainiel, And the other teenagers with his bat speed program that made Cambell and Roman top10 prospects as non elit3 guys from a draft.

Very exciting. Breath of fresh air not seeing a GM immediately pivot to a 36 year old in FA
