3 Trades To Make The St.Louis Cardinals Future World Series Contenders. #baseball #mlb #sports

three moves to set the St louis Cardinals up for future contention the first move is trading Phil Maton to the Philadelphia Phillies a team desperate for bullpen help and Phil Mon has been insane with a 1.76 erra and I think they could grab their 12th ranked prospect in Seth Johnson who has a 4.54 ERNA this season but posted a 2.74 last year in 2024 and they could also probably get some cash as well the second move is listening to offers for Nolan Arnonado and Eric Fetty these are two guys that as things stand right now don’t have much value in the market but if they got hot before the deadline could draw some lucrative offers aronado is very complicated with his contract and no trade clause and Fetty just doesn’t look great with his underlying numbers being extremely alarming but these are two guys who are kind of holding up this team from moving on to some younger guys so it would help to see them leave to see what some young guys can do and the last move is getting rid of last year’s reliever of the year Ryan Helley who isn’t doing as good this year with five blown saves already this season and a 3.97 fib giving up a lot more contact and hard hits than he ever has before but he’s still a valuable piece in the market and I believe the Los Angeles Dodgers need some more arms to help this team and they will take on Ryan Hley sending back Nick Fo a righty pitcher and another pitcher in Kyle Hurt to get some near major league ready arms for the Cardinals let me know what you guys think about these moves in the comments and make sure to like and follow for more baseball content

  1. Well, I like the way you’re thinking. But none of those things really make us contenders (at least, this season) but as far as a 2-5 year timeline to become championship caliber, this is a great starting place

  2. Bro what are you on? It’s almost like you want to see them lose. Phil Maton is a good mayor league pitcher, why would we trade him a prospect that might be a bust. Nolan Arenado is one of our core players we need him. But we do need to trade Fedde. Are you a cubs fan or something?

  3. Giving up Maton and Hensley whose gonna close Romero I don't think so. give up Hensley to the Phillies great record vs east. keep Maton dump zRomero in a deal to LA
