Isn’t that section behind home plate during batting practice? People pay a pretty penny for that proximity I’m sure. I never see them walking along the fences signing kids autographs like back in the old days.
I have a feeling it has something to do with sports cards industry. They sell cards with autographs, so I would imagine they make players sign a no-autograph clause, or limit the autographs,to get paid.
